CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I really really hope the Ginnivan incident with Gawn coming off the ground last time is one of those 'You don't forget' moments for the guys. I like the kid and think he can play but I think the rest of Australia would like to see him get some just desserts on national television.

TRAINING: Monday 1st August 2022
Don't want this to get lost in the airwaves. He really is one of the more laser-like focused footballers I've seen. The shot after the siren in the GF, the mark on the line from Harmes' shot against Hawthorn.. These are small examples but his ability to block out background noise and focus on the task at hand is exemplary, it has shown me that when Tom sets his mind on something he really goes full bore at it. This has to be a great thing when it comes to this recovery. He'll give himself every chance possible.

Trade and Free Agency rumours
The Grundy topic is pretty divisive at the moment. I can definitely see why some think he'd be a good fit and could allow Max to do more. At first glance for me it just doesn't feel right, it feels like Batman asking Superman to join him to be the new Robin. I just can’t get my head around how it works, especially with that kind of contract involved. Not saying my mind is 100% made up on it, he may well be someone who can help us. Maybe some more info comes to light from now until October that will have us thinking differently but right now I just don’t see it.

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Any news on 'Cadman watch'?

Farewell Sam Weideman
That's probably the bottom line.

Forward Half Concerns
The types of forward 50 entries we had on Fri night were more low trajectory and using the boundary line as our friend types. I think this is a decent strategy because our forward line functions best when we a pinging it around in there. More of a chaos forward line than control. It's funny because in the last few weeks opposition teams have been trying to figure out how to attack our no fly zone defence by creating more ground opportunities and they have really just been showing us how we should approach our own forward issues.

Melbourne & Mark Neeld: It Wasn’t All Bad
Neeld could have used Frank Costanza's lawyer.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Would almost be the biggest F U since Trump won the US presidency.

Sure it's hard to forget, but that doesn't mean you have to talk about it!

Forward Half Concerns
Certainly makes you think.

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Grundy back in would really upset the balance they have right now! We here's hoping.

2022 Injury List
I think this is exactly what happened. It sounded too clear to just be on the air. It happens though, maybe they were using an interface and selected the wrong source haha

COACHES VOTES: Round 20, 2022
Really glad to see Miller leading the way actually. Would love to see him in Brownlow contention.

Looking forward to seeing Peter Bell strut his stuff this trade period.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Well said Deanox, think that's pretty much on the money.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Yep, wise words Spalding. Can't be breaking the bank to keep him.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Pretty much! He went above and beyond.

The Soccer thread
It definitely is a small price at the end of the day. Just have less advertising and don't bump up my phone bill yet Optus!

TRAINING: Monday 1st August 2022
Starting to warm to this idea each week. We really just need a contest, if he provides it then it's worth considering.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Wish I could Alex. Would need at least a ball park figure of every players' contract and then there's how all contracts are structured. Fair to say it's considerably less than what Freo can offer, especially if they offload Lobb.

Very keen to see which group Smith is with and how he's pulled up from the weekend.

Farewell Luke Jackson
In times like this you do wonder if the player is getting the best possible representation from their manager. The career is short and all that he they want to get their client the best deal but you have to think of the mental effect on a young kid as well.

POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Took a massive step forward in this one. Caught in two minds at times but don't want to sleep on him and what he can bring.
