I have been involved in cricket for over 35 years so i don't just write crap. How often does the chasing side win on a dodgy pitch?? One day or test??? Not Fackin often. .The Australian XI was lucky for years because of McGrath, Warne & Gilchrist but now they do not exist, As Always seems to happen not enough planning was done for this post period by the selectors or the captain. Hayden played a year too long, which only makes the rebuild that much tougher Ponting is a very "stiff" captain when the team is bowling & i will be happy to see the end of his tenure when it happens. (and no i don't think Michael Clarke is the answer, but that is another story. Once a back is gone, they never return).

Ponting is Part of the Selection Panel so he does take Blame. Also when you win a toss. One should always Bat..Think he should have recalled that from his Time at the Ashes in 2005. Ponting is a fine Batsman, but a very dull & unimaginative Captain.

Great Game, Graeme Smith has become a Legend, that aside the result gives the Australians a new positive Start to the year. The new Australian team is already emerging. In Todays Herald Sun Ponting said he did not wanmt to lose a chance to play for Australia. He put a little test against the kiwi's and his nmatch payment ahead of winning the series against india over there. Appalling! Granted we may not have won, but we had to have a red hot go. He should have at least bowled Hard Core for 10 overs. And yes it is that drastic I will not go to the Cricket while Ponting is in charge-Don't Trust weather he has Australia or his own interests at heart anymore.

We may have to Agree to Diaagree Rhino as i think taking 3-3 just before tea gives a team a good "Sniff" & a serious one. The Actions of our Captain to come out & Bowl Mike HUssey and Cam White at the resumption made me feel Cheated. Correct, in so much as it was the Captain's call to fly the white flag of surrender. Thus i will not go to another Test Match while Ponting is Captain. He cannot be trusted.
