Eddie saw what was going on, thatâs why the comment was made. If he hadnât seen what took place there would have been no mention of it. Rather simple really. He completely stuffed up and tried to squirm out of it. She was standing in the middle of the ground holding a crutch in one hand. Not hard to see what is going on. Eddie has runs on the board... whether it was deliberate or not, YES he ridiculed a disabled person on national TV ?

As a disabled person myself, Eddie can shove his apology where it fits. To say that his statement wasnât about Cynthia is a disgrace. It was. It was the reason he opened his cheap mouth. Give me 5 minutes with McGuire and i would rip him to shreds, he has runs on the board over many years.

Being kept scoreless in a final Quarter on our home ground is very serious We have problems that us mere supporters donât know about. I will reserve my judgement till Rounds 5-6, but we had better play with a killer attitude next week or else this year will be another nothing season.

I wouldnât call it selfish, if a player is involved with the play on the ground he isnât going to pull out and run off the ground. Itâs just a reminder of what our game was like before Sheedy bought in his rotations in the early 90âs All players must go hard when it is their turn. The Coach will now be very careful who he pulls to the bench late in every quarter, because there is a very high chance that they wonât get back on again Remember when players took a 10 minute ârestâ in the forward pocket...?

Anything could happen today. Port will go in hard, i have no doubt. Today will give us a good idea how much the players have matured. I saw it last night, late in the game. The Filth had 3 experienced players on the bench who couldnât get on the ground. Players will now have to do some coaching on the ground, and sometimes they will have to hurt late in a quarter, like the old days. I like it. The runners became an obstacle on the ground itâs round 1. An ugly scrappy win is fine by me, just win.
