  1. Agreed sadly. To many broken collarbones. Brian Wilson talked about it last year
  2. Jones was never a star. Loyal and a very hard worker yes
  3. He was very ordinary last year. Loyalty aside. i am hoping he finds it hard to get a game in 2020
  4. I hope you are right! He could be absolute dynamite if he gets his mind right, to really go for it
  5. Keith Richards has given up cigarettes ? I am in shock!! Been a Stones fan since i was 7 years old Wow!!
  6. That’s exactly how i feel. Happy for girls to play the game, good on them. but it is hard to watch 3 goals per side. Long way to go.
  7. Well he does work for the hun. He doesn’t have to lie much lower. Ralph referred to him as a “revered player manager” whereas you and i would look at it differently. Nixon was obviously having a “good day” and his points were quite valid
  8. Ralph could have Written the same story and put his name to it. it makes little difference
  9. In this instance Nixon is dead right, it’s rare i know!
  10. Player retention would be a major hurdle. like the Swans, The Map of Tassie would need to be successful each year or it would wither.
  11. Ivor Warne-Smith was a door at the entrance of the old MCC. An excellent meeting point i used for years. “see you at Ivor at Half Time....” his Playing career was a few decades before me and i am not young anymore....
  12. Peter Moore definitely played in ‘87 he was overlooked late in the year and didn’t play September Jimma took his spot
  13. Can’t go Past RDB and Robbie Frank “bluey” Adams, Stuie Spencer and Tiger Ridley close behind honourable mention to Brian Dixon Allen Jakovich could have been our greatest, but his back was suspect before he came to us
  14. To many broken bones
  15. Thanks Angry how very insightful
  16. 32 years working for ABC Melbourne Ripponlea Natural History Dept 10 years in News and 20 years in Post Production (Drama) i have cut a lot of Promos. What have you done?
  17. Big statement there mate. i have made 100’s of Promos. I know what they are. And that is exactly why i do not like the timing of this one. it’s too early. and if others disagree so be it. but this time i agree with Cornes. You don’t. maybe i am older than you, and have seen more false dawns.
  18. I watch Training Videos and keep an eye on injuries i don’t need to see a video of how we have come back from hell. We are still there until we win consistently. what i am sick and tired of is hollow promises. be quiet, lie low and DO what needs to be done.
  19. Win Allan Jeans style. moment by moment. Contest by Contest Round 1 over there Membership sales will be fine if the players are ready to win Not by telling how good they have been. we are rubbish after 2019 in the eyes of all our oponents. The only way to redemption is to beat them. then it is “To Hell and Back”
  20. That’s what the title says Titles are very important, they set the tone.
  21. Media releases like the Boys in the Gym working hard in Maroochydore are fantastic. a glossy documentary called “To Hell & Back” is extremely premature in my view. we haven’t come back from anywhere yet. maybe it’s just a bad title, but i would release it at seasons end IF we are in September action. then i am all for it, but not before the season starts
