Why did we fade out in games?
100% right. We convert more goals from the Midfield domination that we often had. 3.8 last Friday 1st Quarter It will be the opposition who is gassed early It is a glaring deficiency.

- Oliver's fault he was gouged in the eye

Good Year

Queen’s passing
Fairly understandable when you think about it. i was always suprised when she survived an Irish visit She was fairly tough QE2

Why did we fade out in games?
There’s no way we would have won the final 2 Rounds of the Season if that was the case. It ain’t on Selwyn

Why did we fade out in games?
Yep that’s it. And with the door still open, the midfield has to keep the intense pressure up. It’s not possible. It’s all Forward Line Conversion of opportunities We have to Find another Big Forward who can convert to work with JVR and hopefully TMac. BBB could still be damaging as a Tall, but he isn’t a Primary Target anymore

MCG Bogey ground
Get the Forward Line Functioning properly and we will kick big scores on the hallowed turf.

Why did we fade out in games?
All good points but how many times did we kick more points than goals, when we were strongly controlling general play? Look at what we could still do at The Gabba in Round 23… 13.3 at Halftime

A message to the marketing department
Only in very particular circumstances and under very discreet conditions!!

A message to the marketing department
I think Ben Gibson does a fantastic job. I don’t want to bang an inflatable object, they just get in the way.

Why did we fade out in games?
I honestly think it was forward conversation rates. When the midfield was working well, we simply didn’t kick enough goals. and because they worked so hard, fatigue had to set in. It was evident even last Friday. We Smashed Brisbane early but kicked 3.6, if that had been 6.3, they wouldn’t have beaten us. A lot of people are blaming Selwyn Griffith, i am not. Our season came to an abrupt end because of Goal Kicking accuracy. We didn’t nail opportunities efficiently

It's the Culture
I don’t think the Club did anything wrong this year. I don’t think they were complacent. Goodwin played in Back to Back Flags But what we did do was not quite good enough. This is when an interal review IS important What can be improved? Do we need to refresh assistant coaches?

Positives from 2022
JVR is the positive

It's the Culture
Our problems were structural, not cultural We were in every game, bar 1 We needed a Key Forward and it was not available

Simon says
Simon is an honest guy. I get that. But what I cannot understand is that the above statement WE could all see in Rouds 11-12 etc and very little changed. He backed his original template to improve. He certainly needs to be more daring in future Seasons And the Players were not fit enough Mind or body when it counted (The Finals) Very frustrating

Finals 2022: Week 02
Which was mostly ineffective at The MCG all year. I am looking from outside. Inside the Club they live and breathe it, but i just don’t understand, particularly after TMac went down. Give Fritsch and Brown the Arc and the Filth get another one
