Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Motlop will end up at North. Maybe Port. Melbourne surely wouldnt be stupid enough.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I am hearing you. Hard to trade a player out especially Watts. I am being a realist. Watts wasnt picked for season opener and dropped later in the season. I thought he was a bit lucky to get back in the side when he did. If I had choice from Gaff, Watts and Blicavs. I would take Blicavs hands down.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
If Melbourne is interested in a player from Geelong, my inkling tells me Mark Blicavs. Blicavs can play midfield/ruck. 198cm and 100kg. Very good runner and tackles. Big body and difficult match up at centre bounces/clearances. V.Good player and is exactly the type of player we need... With Stringer and Ablett wanting to go to Geelong I am confident this could be on the cards. Geelong need to land draft picks to make this happen. 3-way trade. Blicavs and Pick 33 to the Dees, Watts and Pick 20 to the Dogs, Stringer and Pick 27 to the Cats. I can see the Dees landing Lever, Blicavs and Gaff. That would be the best trade week ever...

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Very true. I think the Lever trade is getting compared to the Treloar trade a lot. Pies paid too much it that one. And Hawthorn and Geelong didnt pay enough for Mitchell and Dangerfield.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Dees GIVE - Pick 10, 27 & 1st Round 2018 to Adelaide Dees GET - Jake Lever, Pick 17 & 2nd Round 2018 * Dees on trade Pick 17 & Kent to West Coast for Andrew Gaff and Fraser McInnes.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I was thinking the same thing. We keep Pick 10 and land a Higgins if available. I definitely would'nt be trading Hunt or Salem. Trade 2018 first rounder to Adelaide and this years 2nd rounder (Pick 27). Adelaide sound like they will go hard for Jeremy McGovern as Levers replacement at the end of 2018. 2018 first rounder will be more valuable to them in this scenario. If we want draft picks we need to trade a player(s) back in. Eg. Tyson for 2nd round

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I think that is a fair trade for all... Great game from Maynard today.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Pick 10 & 27 for Lever & 35 would be likely. Or 2018 First Round Pick for Lever.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Sounds like Jake Stringer wants out and is on the table. Still has youth on his side. But has alot of hamstring trouble and his final series was ordinary for his talent and size. Not a big game player! Pass

Kobe Farmer
The Wiz was the most exciting player I have seen at the Dees in my time... He definitely got the turnstiles working at the G. I couldnt beleive it when he went to Freo. I can only remember his time at the Dees other than the goal he kicked for Freo after the siren to beat us. Wow! Kobe Farmer in the Red & Blue. I would love too see that...

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Melbourne is confident they will get Lever. Melbourne were confident they would make finals too... We all know what happened there. Lol

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lever is not the end of the world. He is an intercept player. Most teams have one. I think Lever is a tad over rated and not the most important position we need to fill. If he comes to us, i hope we dont pay overs.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
Not sure which thread to post this... I congratulate Dusty Martin on staying at the Tigers. Awesome for the Tiges and for the competition. As stated in the media ab announcement will be made b4 the Tiges final and possibly by the end of the week. I would hate to see them lose the best player in the comp to a rival for money only. Tiges are flying and he will make more money there in the long run being a one club player. As a Dees supporter we missed out Dusty! I feel the same with Charlie Curnow in 5 years time...

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I think our 1st pick (12) and Frost would be a fair trade for Lever too beaver... Jon Ralph has Lever coming to the Dees and naming us as 2018 premiership favourites. Lol

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I havnt heard that one. We would be the winners in that trade. Do it! I am sure there would be trade of draft picks also...

Take them out at the legs!

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Joel Smith and I believe Watts can be a very good back man. Watts should have played spare man back v North last week instead of Lewis. I thought the coachs would have got that right but got it totally wrong. Watts is tall, a good read of play and foot disposal is A1. I think Watts can play a very similiar role to Jack Gunston. Gunston has been a gun down back. I suppose if we trade for Lever this will be his role...

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Sorry! Ben Brown is 24 not 21. Mixed up with Lever. Ben Brown doesnt only create a nightmare down forward for opposition. But he could be a great support for Gawn in the ruck also. I think Brown is capable of taking his game to another level. This guy has a tank and multiple efforts for the contest. With Brown in the forward line he can dominate stoppages allowing Gawn to play a kick behind the play when forward. We can create immense forward pressure on opposition with this scenario. Ben Brown is a dead eye dick for goal too! Not many players with a conversion rate like his. I would be getting on the front foot Melbourne... Make him an offer to good too refuse. HF Petracca Hogan Hannan F Garlett Brown Watts/Weideman Just too keep in mind. Hogan is always going to have the pull of returning to WA. Fremantle/West Coast are always going to be in his ear with nice offers.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Ben Brown has been the difference in both loses against North this season. 5 and 4 goals. Thats likely 2 more wins if we can stop him. But we cant! Not even close. Same as Daniher. A very good forward line can be built around him. 21yo. Blow North out the water...
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Ben Brown and Joe Daniher are match up nightmares... Joe Daniher is a lock for his career at the Bummers... Ben Brown I believe is gettable at the end of 2018... We offer him 800k a season for 5 years. By the end of 2018 it might be a mill... Josh Kelly will end up at North on a truck load... I rate OMac and Frost down back. There young and raw. Lever would be great. But I think Brown should be our man.
- Who will be the next Dees Brownlow Winner
-
Darcy Tucker
My first impression is he is of a similar player to Rory Sloane. In his draft I was hoping the Dees would have taken him with our pick in the 20's before he slid all the way Adelaide at pick 40 something. I can't see us taking him with Pick 7 and he definitely won't get to our third pick.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOEL SMITH
Jesse Hogan & Joel Smith. That's a combination I would like to see...

Jack Watts
I agree! He will be a James hird type of player. Just give him time! He is devoloping well for a kid doing his year 12. And remember he has'nt even done a pre-season. Wait until he gets 2 or 3 of those under his belt. He will burn!!!
