Oh, so you are saying he did get a discount but that was offset by carry over points? Hard sometimes to get all the details
-
if its 3 with no reduction then he may as well appeal. nothing to lose
-
is that 4 weeks reduced to 3? or 3 weeks that can be reduced to 2?

How did Cameron Schwab fill in his days at the MFC?
daisycutter replied to angrydee's topic in Melbourne Demons
with encouragement from the afl if i remember correctly -
i think achieving what is required and ONLY being in debt of 3M is being optimistic assuming we replace average performers with good experienced ones its not hard coming up with a sum exceeding 4M and what would that do to us

Neeld Post Match - Platitudes and other nonsense talk
daisycutter replied to Soidee's topic in Melbourne Demons
i must admit i have found all of neeld's press conferences incoherent and rambling and yesterday's was no exception i know his main job is not to be a media star but if this is indicative of his communication skills then i can see why players seem confused over their game-day roles -
I expect the board must be wondering where all the money is going to come from given all that needs to be done. we are already down 1.5M and sacking people, paying out contract, paying top money to get an experienced coach and other personel and players is going to cost a mint. its not hard to come up with a debt exceeding 4M where is this going to come from? Membership is falling, sponsorship will become harder The afl is already pouring big money into the franchises and can't be expected to cough up that sort of money even with the changes we would like to see it will be a hard long road the only hope i can see is if a well-minted white knight emerges..................else, like it or not, we look stuffed.......seriously
-
what do you mean "NOT capable of doing any better"? What a load of defeatist, apologist cobblers. Of course they are this playing group have gone backwards since neeld arrived. Who could deny this? Not saying they were great before he arrived either. some of the problems with the team may not all be neeld's fault but he has shown nothing to suggest he can be an afl senior coach, in fact much to suggest he can't. the team is a disgrace and neeld hasn't got a clue and only making things worse

could we do both?

One could be excused for thinking we don't want to win baffling

Wonder what PAUL ROOS is up to these days???
daisycutter replied to Pata's topic in Melbourne Demons
what are you on? Who said anything about absolute proof or irrefutable proof. these are your words who is trying to stifle discussion? most posters are agreeing essentially with what dee-luded says not me, so there is no stifling imo i think some posters are going a little over the top on the question of jackson working for the afl vs mfc BTW are you aware of previous posts between dee-luded and me on this subject going back a few days? If you were you might understand my responses my friends will get a good laugh on your description of me as a conservative - lol i take it the rest of your post was not aimed at me so i won't comment -

more list management? i think we should be playing the best 22 to try and win especially as we are playing the Suns we lost two midfielders and the best 2 midfielders currently at casey are the rookies magner and couch i find it baffling

Wonder what PAUL ROOS is up to these days???
daisycutter replied to Pata's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ummmmm.........are you serious a job is a contract so what? spargo was always just an emergency interim ceo and so what if the afl helped find an interim ceo because the club wanted time to decide on a permanent appointment. the afl is there to help clubs of course the afl are involved to some extent in mfc's problems people are reading way too much into things with little proof -

daisycutter replied to Pata's topic in Melbourne Demons
are you saying he doesn't have a contract with the mfc as it's ceo dee-luded it may be a different matter how we came about aquiring him but that's just networking but contractualy and legally he is bound to the mfc and its best interests as their employee whatever he says to the afl must be approved by the board or he is in breach of his employment if the board are happy he reports to the afl (in confidence of course) as to the state of affairs internally of the mfc then that is for the board to decide but the lines of responsibility are clear. he can't tell the board one thing and the afl a different thing -
redleg must be off his meds.......very strange mutterings or maybe he has been hacked and hijacked?
