NAB AFL TRADE RADIO - DAILY UPDATES
fugazi clickbait or dumb shyte ignorance or both (likely)
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
very strange, bub. they've been working on this deal for over 4 years but still want to play funny buggers
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
71 games in 6 years for various reasons (and yeah i know the reasons) making it approx 12 games per year or 52.6%

Travis Colyer
our thoughts on melk at the time were also overlaid with the impending risk of asada suspension hanging over his head (which did eventuate) i got mixed info re his worth from essendon relos/friends. some i valued thought he would be a good pickup esp with a new start so yeah, the net results by many here were quite mixed

well freo must value hogan pretty highly since they have been after him non-stop for at least 4 years but wgaf what manure says or thinks?
-

The 1964 Grand Final Banners
you're right, forgot about them we need to keep them on-side but only until yarra park is built
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
yeah well they are going to play their cards close to their chest aren't they but ultimately they will want to clear their decks of may
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
coz they don't want to wait a year to get rid of may. they are in culture change mood
-
The 1964 Grand Final Banners
i say bring back the retro banners......i like balloons
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
and what would a fan (us incl) know about club to club negotiations....of course they would be laughing just as we are at the notion of just accepting may for hogan using a single 1st rounder. let them laugh their head off when they get hogan for a winning deal for mfc, coz it's gonna cost them big
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
that's why the trade must be result in a demonstrable improvement for the side, or it's off for 12 months
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
can't agree with this assessment, bub. as for getting these "same ridiculous offers", that is the point i made. if we get the good offers then fine, so far i'm seeing a lot of noise indicating offers that don't make us demonstrably better. as for next year, weagles bound to be in it big time. plus a lot can change in 12 months i don't want to see a hogan for may plus small change. we would be worse off imo no fire sale, hogan stays
-
Josh Mahoney - Trade Radio 2/10/18
the appropriate word would be "unlikely" rather than "realistically"
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
we should only trade if we end up demonstrably better off. best on offer is not acceptable unless it satisfies the former. if not, we keep hogan, no sweat, and go through it all again next year
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
any decent manager would tell him to make no public statements until it is resolved
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
correct. and if we don't get may, hogan can play chb if the coach wishes. he has done so in his junior years.
-
Andrew Gaff
yeah, like he be unhappy to play a starring role in a premiership
