  1. I'm pretty much undecided I think he can play forward ok, but have doubts re DH stories I hear Plus, I feel kinda dirty taking anything from the filth Bottom line though - happy to leave it up to FD
  2. F = you can guess D = dead M = should be easy now
  3. Why? Worried?
  4. Oh [censored], FMD must've forgot what forum i was on mate
  5. Tell her that the asians date ones birthday from the date of conception That way you can have her 21st this December - well away from any finals - easy Edited some atrocious mathematics
  6. sorry . . . . i was piqued by the irony
  7. we could always bring back Juice Oh wait, we have
  8. Take a bow deezman! one absolutely final thing . . . you know how the emblem has the rules of the game across the background. well for a demonland feel i think you should add the text of E25's famous cameron cloke post on your background in blue font (not white cos I'm allergic to it). just joshin (for those a bit slow)
  9. Looking good deezman If you don't mind some more nitpicking shrink the ribbon + Est 200 (its too dominant re demonland text) Increase "Demonland" font size a couple of points drop "welcome to" Can you take some of the "orange" out of jims face?
  10. good man. go for it
  11. Bit one dimensional rpfc And I thought they were put on earth as a good place to work off some testosterone, bond with males, be an excuse to get pizzed, stick it up your neighboring suburbs and if your lucky win a flag. But I guess the good ole times must have changed
  12. Is that steam? And I presumed it was pot smoke.
  13. Rhino, I created this thread a little bit tongue-in-cheek Obviously the odds in a situation like this of the club doing a backflip are pretty long However, it does seem worthy of discussion. I'm reasonably sure the club in its planning didn't envisage losing both veterans (and Capt/ViceCapt to boot). Junior is obviously well respected and popular and could contribute in many ways. Of course we don't know Junior's opinion in this possibility. He may well have moved on and committed himself to other goals Its more a wish/what-if thing than anything else
  14. Not bad. Couple of suggestions if you don't mind Put Jurrah in centre, swap grimes & Sculley. This give better balance. Centre looking forward, both sides looking inwards. Give "Welcome to Demonland" dominance over "Est 2000" Remove black stuff off Greeny's right arm
  15. If you want a pizzing contest have it with someone else
  16. Passion is fine adc. Bile is another thing. Reread your orig post.
  17. Wake up. The days of players playing for glory and the love of a club are long gone These guys are full professionals. Its their job, their career, and a short one at that, to be maximised Remember it cuts both ways. Try putting yourself in their shoes before getting so self righteous. And remember, we have no idea of the actual negotiations that took place, and the clubs comments re Bruce's career and contributions were quite generous and not critical. Thoughout the whole process Bruce has not made one public comment. Having said that I still think Cam made the wrong decision, but then I'm not a full-time career footballer, just a one-eyed fan.
  18. Not that I'm saying this is not so, but where did this revelation come from? Was he quoted? Did his manager says so? Was a club spokesman quoted? A reporter? Or was this some posters assumption which others subsequently took as gospel? Just curious.
  19. You make some valid points. Most posters reactions at this stage are largely emotional (understandable). I'm sure Bruce's sticking point was not "guaranteed" games but an assurance that he would get a game if best 22. This should have been sorted out pre-trading time though I thought though that you did yourself a disservice re comments on Robbo. He was nowhere near best 22 in his last year. In fact he was an embarrasment which was a pity given all the highlights of his previous years. It was sad that even he thought he had more years still left in him
  20. Second that. Complete rebuild
  21. And what about Feebey's jail-cut!
  22. If we knew Bruce was going, I'd bet we would have kept Junior for another year But is it now too late? I suspect so, but . . . . . .
  23. With Bruce packing up his traccy dacks should the club hold up the olive branch to Junior? I think so. We could do with the experience to keep the ship steady for another year while the boys develop. Junior would be a great utility player and you know you will always get an inspirational effort What say you?
  24. Well said chook. At least you took the time to review replays and focussed on all aspects, rather than the just the disposal weaknesses. Too many observers like to jump the gun. Bruce's days may be numbered but while he can still read the play well and his motor holds up he has something to offer. His fitness allows him to play out the end of a season well whilst many of our younger boys will naturally fade a little towards the end. Take the offer Cam and prove the knockers wrong
  25. Quite agree. It was embarassing. I think (hope) our metrosexual's days are drawing to a close If only he would stick to underwear ads and give cricket a miss And take that poor man's Brett Lee, Johnson with him, what a spud. Now rpfc will get on my case for getting off topic again Cheers
