  1. If he was I wouldn’t comment.
  2. Waiting for some genius to come up with ” Prince.”
  3. Seems a number of coaches have gone to the bench to talk directly to players including Clarko.
  4. Spoke to him at the game in the last quarter on Sunday and he was pretty happy with the boys.
  5. Will be very happy to see us signing the Big Macs for several years. Vital cogs in our best 22.
  6. Were we the chalk or the cheese?
  7. Yes Tyson is an inside mid, but as you concede has poor disposal both by foot and hand. He is also quite slow, both physically and mentally, taking too long to decide his best option. That said his best footy for us has been as an inside mid and playing away from there has exposed his deficiencies. Harmes is not a mid let alone an inside mid and plays his best footy as a small lead up forward who can apply strong pressure on the opposition defenders. IMO they are both being played out of position and we are therefore not getting the best out of them. Another player in the same boat is Salem, who is also not an inside mid, but rather an outside player with great delivery skill. He is ok off the back flank where he can get room and would probably be even better on a wing. Lastly, I am still trying to work out why Tom Mc was on a wing for some time in the second quarter. It seemed stupid.
  8. Don't forget our own Ollie Wines, Jimmy Toumpas.
  9. A comment to a female employee about her clothing, at a xmas party 4 years ago and settled. Move on. .
  10. Tigers have one player injured, Daniel Rioli.
  11. Nice to have a win for a change. Need to win the next 3 and go 6-3 to give hope for the season.
  12. Bruce is injured, out for several weeks. Not a heavy injury list for Saints. Josh Bruce Back 6-8 weeks Darren Minchington Knee 3-4 weeks Jack Newnes Concussion Test Dylan Roberton Heart Indefinite Koby Stevens Concussion Indefinite Jimmy Webster Hip Test
  13. Why are you concentrating on players who haven't made it, when we have several who have and still will? Do you seriously believe that every player drafted should be in the best 22 the next year? Surely not.
  14. Fritsch and Spargo another two last year. Baker and Petty already showing something as well. Doing ok I would suggest.
  15. A very good low possession game. 3 brilliant passes which led to goals and also kicked a couple himself. Played really smart today and used his body well. Blocked and tackled perfectly.

If Joe is out they will probably play McKernan at CHF and Stringer at FF or the reverse positions or Hooker goes forward if a smaller player comes in..

    I could live with that.
  20. Saty as a friend, could I suggest you leave the last line out of your posts. It is the line that constantly riles so many on here and starts the petty arguments and the rest of your post is informative and sensible. I don't like seeing you attacked on here, as you are a nice bloke, a great Dees supporter and you attend training and pass on info which most of us love to read, just go easy on that last line it is irksome to many. PS. I see I got in one post too late as it has started again.
  21. Well lets examine your argument. In 2015 we took Oliver at 4, happy there. Weideman at 9, could be a good player in the next few years, we will see. King at 46 a developing ruckman and showing good signs. Hulett at 49 a bust. So in 4 picks we have a star, a possible key forward who is in our 22 atm,. a developing ruckman, who you surely accept at 20-21 wouldn't push the best ruckman in the the AFL out of the team and the type of player we need another ruckman/forward, remembering Spence is gone and Pedo is now 32 and one bust. That is actually good recruiting. 75% possible players including a star. If a club took 5 players in the draft every year for 4 years how many do you think would be regular 22? Most likely a club would think it brilliant if 8 players from the group were in the 22. That is highly unlikely though, but if it was, it is a 40% return. Now tell me how we stuffed up Clayton's year and don't use hindsight to pick the eyes out of the draft and remember our last 2 picks were 46 and 49.

    Just win- please.
  23. Every club does. You can’t pick 4-5 players a season who all make it every year, it’s impossible.
  24. Thurlow and Zac Guthrie played for Geelong this afternoon.
