  1. I have a good idea, play dry weather footy in the wet, it always works. Don't get distance with a kick, which might get the ball coming quickly on the ground inside F50, giving the small forwards a chance, no, handball until you lose it and it goes the other way, with that quick kick forwards. Bloody dumb. Great coaching, great decision making.
  2. He will if we have injuries.
  3. You know what also isn't tolerated in wet weather in suburban footy, over handballing. Look at the kicks to handball ratios of both teams and then look at who won. We tried to play dry footy in the wet and we have lost all 4 wet games and one very humid wet ball one. Dumb coaching or footballers or both.
  4. That was just after Viney was called for hand balling as a throw. Commentators said to cover it up, the umpire was blind sided both times. What about the other three? Then a Cat's player is caught with the ball and they call sling tackle.
  5. Not sure it is his fault we have kicked 24-46 in our last few games. I don't think he coaches them to miss from dead in front close to goal. Kick straight for goal and we could have barely lost a game this year. He is also not picking the side. Choco was meant to be the kicking guru. Well we are the worst kicks in the AFL, for goal and all over the ground.
  6. Putrid disposal rarely wins games. In every wet or slippery game, our disposal has been putrid. Our last few games we have kicked 24-46. That is probably the worst in the AFL. Poor decision making also doesn't help. Over hand balling in the wet, was a no no when I played under 9's. We knew it was going to be wet. What were they coached?
  7. 6.14 oh yes.
  8. Scott has said tackle non stop and scrag non stop and he has out coached us simply by that. Look forward to next years game at Geelong.
  9. I would take winning this quarter on the scoreboard. It has a horrible feel about it.
  10. Agree. Our small forwards not getting near it and entry into F50 worse than disgusting.
  11. Tom Stewart dog act and Ralphy trying to talk it down to a fine. Dunstall more honest said he saw Viney injured, moved over and pushed him over onto the sore shoulder side. Is that not foreseeable to cause injury. Watch the media argue against a suspension.
  12. Agree. Is there now a worse disposal team in the AFL? Why can’t we fix that up? We would kill this mob if we disposed reasonably.
  13. Petracca has lost it. Being scragged non stop without a free. Gawn also being pushed grabbed and blocked. No front on for Smith in goal square, was blatant.
  14. Is it humanly possible to play worse?
  15. Agree if we get to normal disposal for a VFL side, let alone AFL.
  16. Kindergarten standard.
  17. Stewart must be suspended. Just pushed over an obviously injured player. Dog act.
  18. Well we are 3rd worst for Goals from frees and against and the stat for our frees generally has dropped the last 4-6 games. We are also playing at Kitty Litter stadium, dominated by kitty fans, so it is pretty obvious what will happen.
  19. That is not stupid, as you need a mobile player on him, who can go with him from FF to nearly HBF and suddenly back again.
  20. Well perhaps the infection interfered with the hamstring recovery. We need him back at 100% and shouldn't risk further injury, if he is not quite right.
  21. Redleg replied to Turner's topic in Melbourne Demons
He has one year left on a contract with us. What if an Interstate club like Port and Adelaide, with Dodee rumoured to be looking around, offered a 3 year deal at reasonable money, I think he would look at that. There are other clubs like Sydney, who are short on key defenders too. You can rent for a couple of years and the family might see it as an adventure.

No it was Tom, named and pictured.
  23. I have never had a glass of whisky, nor more than a sip of brandy in my life. I had a sheltered upbringing. However, beer, vodka, rum and gin have passed my lips on many occasions. I also like the sweeter drinks as I mentioned above, like Kahlua, Baileys, Midori, Malibu, Moscato and several others. Wine, nah. Champagne has also never agreed with me. Lately I am drinking a bit of sustagen, as I bought a carton on special. So there you have it, the liquid adventures of young Redleg.
  24. Welcome home.
