Yeah, but he should have swapped with Watts in the 2nd half. It was a bit hard for someone who's played 2 years of footy in the backline, to come out and play as a forward in one's first game. 4/76 Smith out.

I think his was front ended. Most of the coin was in the first two or three years of his new signing.

Byrnes wasn't on his pat malone on this one. Kent was poor in front of goal. Tapscott missed a couple - that 'snap' from a set shot was terrible.

Hey P_Man, hope you're well. No, I'm still here, albeit angry and seemingly delirious. You and I both know that this next appointment has to be THE one. The names bandied around do not ignite any passion in me, bar Roos. They are tired. No longer 'giants' in their chosen field. Think about a team of young, contemporary footballers, not long out of the game - they know culture, tactics, fitness, an ability to build capacity in the skill sets of players and they have marketing nous. I don't want sympathy from anyone in the AFL! As for PJ? I'll reserve my judgement....as tatu so eloquently reported, he lacks the 'emotional connection' to the club. Talk soon.

rpfc, everyone's chatting, having a discussion. Nothing's personal. I don't like the potential incumbents as they all look tired to me. Paul Roos just breaks my heart as he aint coming, and I don't trust PJ. It's all good.

Flawed comparisons. Old, cold era. I'm not arguing with you or anyone, I'm debating. Williams is finished, Eade is washed up, Roos is unavailable. Jeez, we're desperate.

Born leader. Players respect him and would do anything for him. Imagine a triad of big, big names and the place would start humming again. We're a laughing stock and Eade, Williams, blah blah wouldn't cut it.
