  1. The money they spend on the rights and then weekly on the shows they produce that relate to footy.
  2. Dee have you got some examples/articles quoting other athletes outside of footy raising concerns on how this has been handled compared if it was them?
  3. Will be interesting to see if Ess settle this one with "Ian" Robinson in case he tries to subpoena some people who know too much... http://m.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/dean-robinson-set-to-subpoena-bombers-in-fight-for-pay-20140617-zsavg.html
  4. You would think the AFL is in for a fair smack for how they handled things and what info was passed around, certainly before any announcements were made and Ess, who are self righteously spouting this now, "self reported".
  5. Dunn was also mentioned in messages if I recall.
  6. Found this little tidbit at the bottom of an article relating to Dean Robinson proceedings against Dons: In response to Mr Robinson’s writ, the club claimed he failed to put in place an "adequate process" to ensure substances administered to players in 2011 and 2012 did not contravene the anti-doping code, were approved by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and would not harm the health and safety of its players. But Little is adamant they didn't take anything that was banned??? 7. I understand that but it may also give them a chance to try and view evidence they ASADA has, is what I gathered from Watson small statement. I may be incorrect.
  8. I have been a critic of his for sure but he has improved dramatically this year. I hate to talk about players values as compared to a super coach value but in this instance I will. I have had him in my SC team the entire year and got ripped for it by the mainly Ess flogs I work with, the weekend was really enjoyable!
  9. Tim Watson was on SEN this morning and having a heated debate with Andrew Gaze who was asking some good questions. Watson basically said the players should indeed look at every avenue they could for their own welfare. In saying that he also mentioned that because of the Fed Court action ASADA has to present their evidence. So is this only Ess using this as a chance to see the evidence and then come up with a story get around the evidence? Also in the Dank article about the alleged Medicare fraud it mentions witness information and internal emails sent to Dean Robinson, could this be internal Ess witnesses looking at any way to further discredit Dank and Robinson and deflect blame from anyone else at the club?
  10. He is getting some huge wraps in the papers today not just from the weekend but from rnd 5 onwards he is the dominant defender in the entire comp. Kudos L Dunn, kudos to you.
  11. Since they started taking that fwd 50 entry stat, 1999. Also Dunn had the most defensive 50 rebound possies since that stat started, with 16.
  12. How is this for a stat: Officially Essendon was the most dominant side for fwd 50 entries to lose a game, a +33 fwd 50 entry count and to lose. The average winning margin by a team with 33 or more fwd 50 entries is 87 points!! They lost by 1 hahahah a!!!
  13. Sandor Earl, look him up. Only one charged with use and trafficking.
  14. 1 bloke appreciated, the smug [censored] whistling in his finest Dees jumper. Nice.
  15. What the f are you doing here? Bigfooty is your new home.
  16. Frawls 7 marks, 7 kicks, 1.1 doesn't look bad stats early in 2nd? Most marks on ground.
  17. Bit worried about this one, you'd think they will come out hard but Watson is a huge loss for them.
  18. Have Rich play the sales teams we do at home and see how many they get. They have some of the biggest band wagon fans ever, I have a number of mates who have not been to a Tigs game since they lost too us. Weak as water.
  19. God it is a hard one for the players, "allegedly" and "possible" and they have to prove it didn't allegedly, possibly happen... So nice of Dank and or Essendon (who Dank alledges has all of the records of what was taken and by who) to help the players out right now.
  20. Nope the comeback Kings.... Do it again in OT. Insane. Such a quality team and such a surly old salty coach.
  21. Christ you'd hate to line up in the back line that day.
  22. Club and players and anyone else who gets in his way. He is a product of his environment, Essendon. I am constantly gobsmacked by the Essendon responses. Also has Little been correct on anything he has stated since he came to stupidity, I mean power?
  23. He seems like a sharp operator does Mr McDevitt. Planting the seed, looking to drive the wedge between player and club. Will be hard for the players considering they are all being represented as one and one of the lawyers worked with the Bombers earlier this year on the case. The second point is I am amazed the CEO of the AFL has stated these are allegations only. McDevitt states below he and ASADA believe a potential violation has occurred. "If an athlete can demonstrate, for example, that they didn't know what they were receiving was in fact a performance-enhancing substance which was prohibited, then they may be able to claim no significant fault - which could lead to a reduction of up to 50 per cent in the penalty that could be imposed," he said. "It may well be the case that an athlete doesn't know that they have actually received, through injection or ingestion or otherwise, the prohibited substance. "But the reality for me is that under the code is that this is a strict and absolute offence. "What needs to be proved here actually is that a player has used a substance and that that substance is a prohibited substance. "A show-cause notice in effect says to a player that I have reached a point in my assessment in a particular matter that I am satisfied that a potential violation or possible violation of our anti-doping code has occurred. "And in this case those violations now will be notified through the show-cause notice to the player and will then go to an independent panel."
