Brilliant, also Watts headed off for a change over after the goal but was told sorry mate head down back... saved us.

Another one... Watts in particular looked like he was really waiting his full 30 seconds when having shots on goal. I've always wondered why no player/team absolutely waits the full 30 seconds to begin the goal kicking run up. Especially with the gut busting running now days.

Vagg, the wife's Nonna passed a few years ago and we were lucky enough to get her radiogram. Had it refurbed... bloody love.

Just checked the last 4 mins again now and after he kicked his sealer Watts went back to defence. He touched the snap in the line and few ferals were over the fence at him. As Fasolo kicked his goal siren sounded and Watts was on the fence arms in the air.. can only assume he was given plent of spray and he enjoyed the moment.

Watched the replay last night and you could only see a couple of little snippets in and around bottom and side of overall shots but looked like he just turned to the crowd, smiled, poked his tongue out and had his arms in the air. He may have said something at one point but seems to be totally blown out of proportion by a bunch a blow hard tinker bells.

Haven't we just come off a bye? Are they professional players?Comments like 3 changes are a must doesn't make sense to me for this week. Unless injured there may be no change as the Doggies don't have a ruck of note, another week for Spenc to get game time in 2s, Gawn another week to keep building up again. Id be amazed if Gawn plays this week at all, MFC tends be to conservative with our injured players let alone a player of Max worth long term to us.

Lastly, what an incredible game of AFL footy. Intensity from the bounce to the final siren, kudos to both sides.

They are kidding themselves, Joffa what a w anker he is. The amount of chit they would have given Watts over the years let alone Monday, Watts gives a little back and the power puffs have a sook.

Buggy and ANB both do nice little bits and pieces throughout games. Bugg needs to get in the end of a few and finally this week he did. ANB need to set up the links and be part of the links and has done that well recently.

What's with Howes ginger pube beard? Hibberd.. best trade we have ever made, he is a gun. Reads the play incredibly well, hard and committed and has brilliant skills. Underrated.

Was at the game, just watching replay for first time. I felt it in the day and replay confirms it, if we'd kicked into our fwd 50 with any kind of accuracy in the first qtr and a half we'd have been 5 goals in front. We were all over them, turn overs made them look good.

I've been able to bring along two mates to be Dees fans. A kiwi and a Pom.. after the game they both said a number of times Jesus it is stressful being a Melbourne fan... I said imagine your entire life being a fan, now you know why I'm crazy!!! Wow the Pies midfield has some amazing talent, but so do we. 2 top midfields going at it all game. Wonderful, stressful, beautiful gutsy win! You can have all the what ifs about missing players, umpires etc but we finally guts out a win on the G against a side that has come of 3 wins in a row. Go Dees!!!

Looking forward to a positive post from you. A number in here questioned the 3 years, seemed and seems steep. Has been aging but provides the older "head" player we have needed and as noted above just puts himself in the right spot at the right times. Started the season well but does seemed to have dropped away. Thought the break would freshen him up, might need more breaks during the season and a slower start to the next 2 preseasons moving fwd. Will his decline be too rapid for him to play finals for us in a meaningful way, we are yet to see.

He's not the only one who didn't rate him....
