Just like the time before last time when we beat them. Every game we play until Jones and Viney are back, that's a fair old chance. Playing finals is touch and go, this game is massive for us, bigger than the Sydney game.

It's only Carlton, will play him back into his brilliant qtr debut form.

Of course he hasn't, but he's been very good at getting to the drop of the ball and then using his fwd thinking to out position the fwd to either knock it away or mark it.

Liam Jones has been the best defender in the comp in the last 3 weeks, we'll need plenty of "lowering the eyes" this week to find someone. High and long and LJ will pick if off a first up Hogs.

EPL teams aren't chasing a finals berth, completely different scenario. They rest players in lesser comps (The local cup comps), against teams they are miles ahead of (or behind) or when playing in Europe. They also play a chit load more games in a season than we do.

If SOC had of hit a bloke the way Fahoud did, I expect the guy would be dead.

He should be charged with assault, where are the police? The AFL are embarrassing themselves by burying the head in the sand and just letting this play out.

You're always pretty balanced WB, no matter Osi constant negative vibe not sure what he has done here, the players who got on the [censored] are the ones at fault. What a bunch of sparrows, spots up for grabs, new contract signed, game won. Obviosuly team rules were broken so they didn't get the chance to be selected and totally let the team down.

But not the end of the world either.

Exactly, and it's not like the injuries are to our bottom 6-10 players, it's all our top line talent.

As others have pointed out... rubbish. 11 out injured plus adding Viney, Knuckles Bugg and maybe Tyson means we are just spread thin. Its disappointing the Ks haven't stepped up but it is what it is. Blues are really taking it to Crows, Blues top line in ballers are real quality and we are in for a tough assignment.

Interesting to note (is it really?) Heatherly, who Weids put through the wringer in first qtr at Box Hill was selected for Hawks.

Touch of The Weapon about is doesn't it.. Speaking of the weapon good to see he is back in sport, at an NRL club.

Or if true, I'd be annoyed with the players who didn't do what was expected especially with spots available.
