It bewilders me that we didn’t pick Fullarton for this game. Why have him on the list? Furthermore, why do we continue to play JVR in the ruck when he is clearly one of our best forwards and should now stay there? This was the time to roll the dice and keep JVR permanently forward.

I reckon a change of coach would help enormously. Seems like they need a new voice to inspire them.

Question mark on May’s assessment. He wasn’t great and looks very stiff and sore. Very lucky to be playing on a player who was clearly injured (Waterman) who still ran him around and kicked a couple. Sparrow offers nothing.

Doesn’t help when your best midfielder is out, Oliver is no where near it, Sparrow is ordinary, and the only one with speed is Rivers. Too early to ask about a new midfield coach.
