Forward entries have not changed for 5 years, yet same coaches and players are lauded cos we manage to win a couple of games here and there. Teams have worked out our midfield and target petracca and oliver when we don't have ball. For so long we have had players to cover them in defence, yet they are giving us next to nothing on offence, how about making them accountable both ways. Metres gained means nothing when the ball is going to opposition. For gods sake recruit a coach that can teach forwards. We are playing country footy in AFL. How this has gone on for so long is an inditement on Goodwin and club.

What a rabble Oliver- any chance a handballs can go to a team mate. Petracca - hit a target 2 highest paid players are irrelevant

I have read a lot off comments in regards to JVR and Petty forward craft, I agree that Petty needs to be more stronger/physical in contest, gets out marked to often by smaller opponents. But i am not sure how good there forward craft can be when majority of our midfielders and ruckman are long dump kicks, seems that we still haven't fixed this problem over last 4 years. How can you lead with any confidence when you don't know where the ball is going and it never seems to be on the advantage side of our forwards ?

Be nice if he could sprinkle a bit of his forward craft magic on the rest of our key forwards !!

Maybe as a Captain and leader of a football club you shouldn't be taken an in season meeting with another coach !!! And if you do, you have to expect the scrutiny, if & when you get caught !!

If we are playing Petty forward, why cant he and JVR share the 2nd ruck duties, so as not to put too much pressure on JVR. I am in the camp of letting JVR just work on his forward craft without having to go into ruck, but they need to get him to start leading at the ball carrier rather than just put hand up all the time, whether the ruck duties affect his ability to do this, I am not sure.

Sorry Binman, but your coaching reference to Phil Jackson was a bit off !! After winning 6 championships with Chicago, got sacked and went on to win another 5 with LA lakers, making him a 11 timer !! I'm not greedy, just 1 more form Goodwin will do me !!

Needs to be given 6 weeks, like any other player, get some confidence and trust at level. Can't get that in and out !!!

A club with no leadership and a football department with no plan. We have no elite ball users. Clubs have worked us out. The more ball we have, the closer we are to turning it over. Any chance we can get a coach to teach our forwards to lead !!! All we do is stand and put hand up What a disgrace and waist of talent. Dack all coaches we have put up with same excuses since premiership !!

True, but they could probably use the extra half an hour and work on kicking and handball skills !!
