Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
MELBOURNE will start talks to lock in versatile tall Blake Howes to a new deal. The 2021 draftee is coming to the end of his deal at the Demons, which runs until the end of this season, but discussions are set to kick off to extend his stay at the club. Howes has managed 20 appearances across the 2024-25 seasons. Melbourne selected Howes with its second pick (No.39) in the 2021 draft pool after snapping up Jacob van Rooyen with its first-round selection that year. Howes has been in strong form in the VFL, averaging 24 disposals this season, as he pushes for a recall to the senior line-up. – Callum Twomey

I would rather put that money into jacko and/or kosi. plus we have a huge key position player problem, the only one on our list that has a permanent spot in the fwd or back line is turner which is down back. lever and may who in my view are nearly finished as well as tmac who has one more year left in him, petty is solid up fwd and down back but it depends on other players and how they are going. jvr just needs a legend of the club to work with him we have heaps why has this not been done??? mj is completely lost atm, Adams and kentfield we don't know about yet but look somewhat promising, fullerton is just as lost as mj, I also have no clue about Verrall but he has improved a lot this season. oh and we are hopefully bringing in Kalani at the end of the year there is another one. i think some of these lads absolutely have it in them but we have no idea where to play them and they just need a crack at it to see.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
FREMANTLE captain Alex Pearce is free to play after successfully overturning his three-match ban for rough conduct at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday. how can you get a three game suspension down to 0, i can understand if one or two games get taken off but this doesn’t make sense to me

TRAINING: Tuesday 27th May 2025

Callum Mills
not sure if anyone else noticed this but, one of the only disappointing things from yesterday was that no one went over to him after the hit and gave him some [censored] and a jumper punch maybe??

CASEY: Rd 09 vs Northern Bullants
exactly we were playing against the worst vfl team ever, needs to locked in a gym and the key thrown away for a while then he can look at a senior return. I have zero other problems with his game apart from he still looks exactly like he did in his draft year

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
i think we usually specifically request this game every year, most of them have been against port and crows which is one less game a year i can see :(

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
from an article on afl.com : Champion Data shows that since score involvements started in 2003, only four players have had 24 or more disposals, six or more clearances, 13 or more score involvements and five or more goals: Jason Akermanis in 2015, Patrick Dangerfield in 2014, Matthew Pavlich in 2010 and Pickett on Sunday.
