When we beat Geelong, I will...
I will half believe!

There is a role for Bugg
I'd play him! Hannan was poor for much of last week and JKH plays like a frightened rabbit. Bugg is capable of being a link in the chain like he was against North kicking four goals. He can run and mark overhead. His problem is he turns it over by foot and isn't a particularly strong tackler.

Changes vs Geelong
Think Hannan will be in trouble. Was very poor for much of yesterday. Wonder if Bugg will ever reappear?

FENCESCORE Vs Dishlickers
Majority of posters gave Salem votes for good reason. You rated him lower than Frost, Hibberd, Lewis, who many considered putrid.

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
Smith has to go. So far away from it. Goodwin will stick with ANB, but perhaps shouldn't.

Changes v Port
Vince and Spargo out. Unsure who in? Jeffy?

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
The falling over and the slowness are a worry. Our oldest Vince and Lewis were exposed. Our youngest in Spargo was also exposed.

Post Match Discussion - Round 12
Exposed in so many ways.

Filling the hole left by Jake Lever’s injury
As many have mentioned, it doesn't have to be a like for like replacement. The worries are the five options (Wagner, Frost, Smith, Keilty and Hunt) lack the composure to play the Lever role. The disposal of Frost, Hunt and Wagner is inconsistent as well. Hibberd isn't good enough in the air to step into the role. If he was we could bring Hunt back. I have a feeling they will go back to Wagner.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TIM SMITH
Whatever you call it, it is a great story. Let's hope it ends like a fairytale.

What’s really changed since our last loss?
Here goes: 1. Over aggressive defensive press less aggressive. Lever used often as the last line of defence. 2. Not every player getting sucked into the contest. Now have players on the outside to provide links. Hawthorn killed us on the outside even though we won it on close. 3. New roles for Fritsch and Brayshaw. Both have been a revelation. 4. Return of TMac. 5. Return to form of ANB, Harmes, Melksham, Hibberd and Jetta. 6. Going through the centre corridor and switching the ball when required. 7. Hitting up forward 50 targets and not just bombing on Garlett's head. 8. Turnover merchants like Tyson, Frost, Wagner and Bugg dropped to the twos. 9. Playing Jones as an inside mid allowing Salem to play quarter back role. 10. Confidence in all of the above.
