When we beat Geelong, I will...
I will half believe!

There is a role for Bugg
I'd play him! Hannan was poor for much of last week and JKH plays like a frightened rabbit. Bugg is capable of being a link in the chain like he was against North kicking four goals. He can run and mark overhead. His problem is he turns it over by foot and isn't a particularly strong tackler.

Changes vs Geelong
Think Hannan will be in trouble. Was very poor for much of yesterday. Wonder if Bugg will ever reappear?

FENCESCORE Vs Dishlickers
Majority of posters gave Salem votes for good reason. You rated him lower than Frost, Hibberd, Lewis, who many considered putrid.

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
Smith has to go. So far away from it. Goodwin will stick with ANB, but perhaps shouldn't.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
The falling over and the slowness are a worry. Our oldest Vince and Lewis were exposed. Our youngest in Spargo was also exposed.

Andrew Gaff
Understand the need to have him. We lack silk on the outside. However, I prefer a younger target that can give you eight or nine years service. Maybe Witherden from Brissy, or Fiorini from the Suns? Then again these guys are not free agents.

Gerard Whately is a Moron
Not sure you could call him a moron. Save that for the likes of Tony Shaw, Robbo, BT, Derwayne, Bill Brownless, etc. What I've never liked about him is he calls football like a horse race. Also uses 'in terms of' in far too many sentences. That means you've mangled your sentence structure.

Is Brayshaw more rounded than the Trac?
Sunday's game was the start only for Brayshaw. I didn't like his pre season games and at the time wondered if he would live up to early expectations. Unlike Oliver and Viney, Brayshaw, Salem and Petracca have only shown fleeting glimpses of their talent.

Brendan McCartney - Moved to the bench
Bizarre. Quarter time last Sunday McCartney was doing most of the talking. Don't like this one little bit.

What the Fritsch
Short answer, yes!
-
What the Fritsch
Think it is Fritta. Same as what the lads from Coldstream call him. Just as an aside, his father's nickname is the General. One of the toughest blokes you would ever come across. Despite the small frame Bayley won't be a shrinking violet.

Crystal Ball 2018: Predictions for next season
Well here goes: Billy Strech trains all off sesson with Maynard, develops a beast mode and surprises every one from round one. Maynard becomes a first dibs midfielder but becomes Demonland's whipping boy cos he can't kick. Pat McKenna debuts and becomes the surprise linkman the team badly needs. Salem becomes the talk of the town by getting himself fit and playing permanently in the midfield. Selected in 50 percent of SuperCoach teams. Clarrie gets tagged every week and develops a penchant for belting blokes. Disqualified from Brownlow. Fritsch debuts round one and makes an impact but is suspended by the club midseason for being out with the Yarra Valley lads and missing training. Also nominated for mark of the year. Lewis has a slow start and drops himself round eight citing sore knee. Viney struggles for fitness and only plays seven games. Lever becomes a fine acquisition and leads best backline in comp. Hunt becomes more consistent and wins four appearances on the Footy Show. Dees finish third and reach prelim. Lose to GWS by two points.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Check out WJ's 2017 draft prospects thread from last year. Few concerns that GWS would get a top-five pick because he was in their academy at the time. Our own Chelly had him going at one!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Has speed, agility and class on both sides of the body. Is also a leader, but perhaps most important is a competitive little animal too. Cracks in and his defensive pressure is first class. Could have easily been a top-five pick if not injured this year. Embrace this pick Demonlanders. We're lucky to have him.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Love this! Been on about Spargo for 18 months. Boy can play!
