The pics you went to the trouble of posting show exactly that… he was HELPED not CARRIED. Moreover, within a few minutes of these pics being taken he was walking unaided and clearly not in as much pain. So I’m either “blind” or have chosen to “share misinformation,” yeah? Wow. Would expect it from certain others, so disappointed to hear it from you. Right now I’m asking myself why I even bother to post on here.

You think he was faking it? I heard Jacob our Doc asking him a bunch of questions, I heard Shane insist he was fine to go back out, I heard Jacob decide otherwise. I saw Jacob walk him back to the rooms. As he passed by he said, “It’s okay, it’s not an injury, I’m just a bit crook” and he patted his stomach. Maybe the poor bugger reads DL and knows I’ll be on here defending him to the likes of you, PF.

Definitely my favourite thing about today’s session was Charles Spargo. It seems like a lifetime since we’ve seen him without shackles and today’s performance was a huge reminder of what we’ve been missing for 12 months. It was soooo good to see Charles doing Charles things.

Next it’ll be an ambo came lights and sirens to rush him to the hospital where he’s now clinging to life.

Didn’t stop old mate from potting him though. Now I’m waiting for PF to chime in 🙄

Looking great. No yellow hat. When they come off for water breaks geez Tracc is incredible with his words to the boys, especially the young guys. Full of encouragement and praise but not overdoing the praise. He commands their full attention.

Sir yes sir! He looked to be in quite a bit of pain coming off but within minutes he seemed not as downcast. The club Doc said it’s not as bad as they first thought.

Shane-o is done for the day. No he’s not injured, he’s “crook in the guts” and before anyone pipes up, he was legitimately unwell, I saw him throwing up at the boundary.

Disco is here. Kolt was here but I think he’s gone back to the rooms. Vines a no-show. Leb absent is no surprise coz of his foot skin infection thing. Incidentally Idk what they’re feeding these boys but if X wasn’t wearing his #20 guernsey I may not have recognised him. He’s bigger than I thought. Looks great.

Charles though! Soooo good to see him out there with the others. And no one is happier than him. I’m not 100% sure but I think I saw the corners of his mouth turn up for half a second. Monumental!

Ricky Mentha is wearing #34. He didn’t know this until I told him. The boys all duly bagged him 😂 Then Woey asked me who’s number #34 and I said “Kalani” and it was very well received 🙂

The mood is sky-high! The energy is electric. It’s such a great place to be this morning, more so than usual. I can even hear a couple of the boys singing along with the music in the tent. In case anyone is wondering, the song is called “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom” by Venga Boys (I had to Shazam it).

I have actually been told negative things by players, doesn’t happen often but has happened. I choose not to talk about it on here. Your son has every right to be annoyed, especially given his age. Most of us didn’t have to deal with this sort of thing as kids, not to this degree anyways. BTW, if Koz left there’d be a horde of heartbroken kids such is the prevalence of #36 guernseys.

It’s that time of year where we get started on making new handheld banners and signs etc. I’ve been tasked with providing a list of nicknames for this purpose. What our boss lady doesn’t know is I’ve already compiled one on here 😅 So, a simple task really. Besides updating said list, I’ll be delivering a DA teddy bear to a player. Therefore I won’t be able to furnish the usual comprehensive serious af training report as I usually do (I know right. 😂) so y’all will just have to settle for a Kev or Wayne or Matt Demon et al report. ❤️💙
