Yeah I was just talking with a former property steward who told me the website is showing the main session is on Friday at Gosch’s. This makes sense because it’s two days before match day and it’s at Gosch’s because they flight out on Friday arvo. I was told this morning by the head property guy that the main session is at Casey on Thursday. But he was going by memory and didn’t look up the schedule on his phone like he usually does.

Melks all good for this weekend. He was an out last week (“managed”). I still don’t know why that was so but I’m glad he’s available this week. 🥳

Flush run at Gosch’s starting soon but just wanna post this week’s schedule lest I forget. Tomorrow and Thursday - main training at Casey. I don’t know start times because they’re closed sessions. The players fly to Brisbane on Friday evening. Captain’s run on Saturday (details to be announced).

I met X’s parents in Perth last week and was surprised at how young they look. They look like they’d be his brother and sister… his younger brother and sister 😂

[censored] it all. I was up ‘til 1am making a ‘We Love You Claz’ sign and I’ve bloody left it at home. I even bought a big canvas on a frame last night after banner-making and lugged the stoopid thing home on two trains and a bus (lightweight but unwieldy), got more red and blue poster paint on my kitchen table and my clothes than on the canvas and now I’ve gone and left it at home. Damn.

As an aside, re the Sharpy-bashing on here, or anywhere… I know, everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but I find it sad because he’s so keen to do well, he’s dedicated, and Goody says he absolutely works his backside off. He’s always super positive, it’s infectious. He’s always smiling and whoever happens to be with him can’t help but be happy, me included. I told him it was good to see him brought on earlier in the game than usual and he beamed and said “I can’t wait for tomorrow!” Considering he’s likely to be the sub again, he was delighted.

Jeffo looks great. No worries at all. He was in a happy and buoyant mood. Not a lot of training today but they all had so much fun, Jeffo included.
