  1. He really backs himself well. I love the way he tucks the ball under his arm and uses his pace to break the lines. The thing he needs to improve on now I feel is to practice on releasing a handball more effectively than just to another team mate who is under the same amount of pressure, and needs to slow down on those last 4-5 steps and focus more on hitting a target and lowering his eyes (like Saad).
  2. Contracts are like hearts. They are made to be broken.
  3. I've always loved Hibberd. Great spoiler, marker and terrific user of the footy. Would slot in very well in our backline. WANT
  4. OUT: Harmes, Omac IN: Kennedy, Garland/Lumumba (Depending who is fit)
  5. So..umpires don't pay a single in danger the entire game when there is clearely times when a players head could be kicked in, yet they report Vince and pay 50m penalty for an open hand slap that didn't connect? [censored] off.
  6. You didn't hear my big woohoo! at the end?
  7. Not sure if anyone was listening, but I called SEN this morning on the hallelujah segment and gave a HALLELUJAH TO JACK TRENGOVE BABBBYYYYYYYY Can't wait to see him run through the banner this weekend. GO DEES!
  8. Giving Gawn a rest would be a HUGE mistake. Just because Port have Jackson Trengove rucking for them, doesn't mean we can afford to play Spencer. We need to capitalize on their weakness which is their midfield. The games we have played against the top teams Gawn has had an influence one way or another. We were the leading team in the AFL in clearances for a reason. We play that diamond defense, were we afford to lose a defender and get more numbers around the ball and stoppages to win a midfield battle. With Gawn rucking against Port, this will allow our structure and game plan to work so much more effectively if he is dominating the hit outs and feeding our midfielders.
  9. Seriously, the kid is incredible. You only have to look at the way he burrows in and wins the contested footy and knows how to fire out a handball over opposition players to one of our running players into space. His awareness is on another level, not many players have that in the AFL. He is very similar to Cripps but more athletic and explosive. I love Clarry!
  10. JASON TAYLOR.. WE ARE NOT WORTHY
  11. I back the MFC to secure Hogan and develop a great future at the club. In saying that however, I also am backing the clubs stance to not pay overs for him which we have seen in the past destroy the list of teams. Roos has said it before, you don't build a list around one player and you certainly don't throw massive overs for someone when it will throw out a disturbance through the balance of your playing list. You build a premiership side around a collective group, not just one player. The Crows are doing that with Jenkins, sticking firm with the amount they have offered him, take it or leave it policy. At the start of the year I'll admit, I hoped the club threw MASSIVE dollars at Hogan to secure him. I thought losing him would be like losing a pet, shattered and left heart-broken. I would miss Hogan undoubtedly, but after witnessing the way we are playing - I am more comfortable in our future with or without Jesse Hogan. The amount of goal kickers we had against Gold Coast was amazing, including games like North Melbourne and GWS. Look at the way top teams do this with the likes of Hawthorn and Sydney before Franklin. You don't rely on one player to kick a bag to win games. You rely on a collective core. If Hogan does request a trade, and Fremantle offer big bucks, the quality we will get in return will be just as promising and helpful for our future in developing a strong healthy list with depth who will all play a part. Go Dees.
  12. Not landing Prestia in last year's trade period has done us a world of good. Last year he would have been a first round pick and potentially more. Given us run of recurring injuries and not the most amazing form his stocks are slowly weakening. I think we could nab him for something like future first round for Prestia and 2nd rounder potentially?
  13. I hope our defensive structure doesn't break down like last weekend. The amount of times I saw scrambling Melbourne players last week run with their backs to the ball trying to scurry back and get a spoil in as it was being delivered to an unmanned forward player last weekend was cringe worthy. Really hope this is rectified today.
  14. We will get absolute teared up by Lynch and Wright. They will have a day out against our backline.
  15. I'll tell you one thing. I'd rather someone with personality and flair in a football club than a robot like Jack Grimes.
  16. In Bali with my family for my sisters wedding. Will be watching it with my brother and father in huge anticipation of what should be a great game. Gee if we win this it will make our holiday!
  17. After watching the replay, I thought Salem was brilliant in close. He always managed to fire out a clean handball through traffic to release a player and allowed us to get going.
  18. Did he get pinned for holding the ball once on Sundsy night? I couldn't remember one.
  19. In: Oliver, Petracca Out: Brayshaw, Frost
  20. Suprised noone has mentioned Morris throwing his head backwards when he got tackled around the waist in Richmond's forward fifty. I absolutely hate seeing this and I went mental at the ground when I saw it happen. Players should get a warning and if it happens again suspended for a week.
  21. The fear in Rance's eyes was amazing. His tears tasted delicious. Got absolutely cleaned up by Viney twice. Jack was undersized yet still brought him to ground in that wrestle. Suck it Rance.
  22. He won't get suspended. There is no way. What type of message would that give to other players for sticking up for your teammates when the opposition does something like that?
  23. For me, this game is going to go one of two ways: We lose We win by 6+ goals
