The Next CEO
Pert had 3 years as CEO when we won 2021. Ridiculous to say he didn’t have a massive impact on that premiership
-
The Next CEO
Didn’t pert bring us a premiership and plenty of success?

Scott never finished top 4… poor decision by Essendon

Firstly I’m not sold on Buckley. His game plan at the pies will no longer hold up to today’s football. Nevertheless, Buckleys options are limited. Waiting around for another club next year is a massive gamble. That club is likely to be in a worse position than Melbourne and might require a full rebuild. Tasmania also isn’t a great option. Not sure he is keen to get pummelled for the first 2 years. The opportunity at Melbourne is as good as he is likely to see in the coming years.

Training Ground?
Spoke to someone that has involvement with the racecourse and MFC arrangement. Says the deal is all but done. Currently just going over logistics with the shared use of the oval between MFC, scopus and the community. Announcement will be made by years end.

I’ll say it again. Purely in win/loss Paul Roos had a below average record. That’s a fact. He also lost his last game by close to 100 points. That’s also a fact. His game plan was horrendous. Maybe he changed the culture but I don’t rate him as a good coach

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Pure results suggest Roos was below average

Training Ground?
I dont think so. Mt Scopus didn’t spend $200m to buy a leasehold. I think the Carpark in question can be sold off as a freehold
-
Training Ground?
You do realise that we are not going to own the ovals???? This has never been part of the arrangement. The ovals will be shared facility with the public. The HQ and office will be freehold and owned by the club.

Training Ground?
It’s the guineas car park north east of the course
-
Training Ground?
I would have thought the south east corner at 120 neerim road where the stables and sheds are was a more substantial site. The ‘guineas Carpark’ seems somewhat skinny and limited. It is however almost 9,000 sqm of land so surely would be enough for an indoor training facility and a multi story office with function facilities. The indoor facility might also be built as a shared space inside the course.
