POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Windsor with 83% TOG, Tholstrup 80%. That's both in the top half of our players last night. It's promising, for development, that we don't need to work on their tank to get them AFL ready. Windsor especially... already has a tank and the speed, add a bit of strength and he should become an incredible player.

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Essendon VFL
56 hitouts to 12. Good to see our depth rucks are giving a nice audition for Gawn's spot... not

Are we tactically not trying to get hitouts? 34 to 8 yet we're only behind by 5 in clearances.

Shame about the last 10 minutes, it ruined what was otherwise a really strong four quarter performance. Hate seeing JVR spend so much time in the ruck but not sure what else we can do. Sparrow really needs time at Casey, I'm not sure what he brings to the side at the moment. Seems to be spending time in the forward half but only had 2 tackles and can't hit the scoreboard?- 2024 Injury List
Smith and Brayshaw wouldn't stop a 100 point loss to Freo and losing to West Coast. Our injury list this year has been very good. Injuries like Petracca's and Gawn's are unavoidable, they aren't soft tissue that you could blame on conditioning or overtraining. Injuries aren't to blame for our performance, nor should we be complaining about our injury list. We've been fortunate, we just haven't had the form, intent or depth of talent to compete for a top 4 spot.- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon

- "Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
We haven't had a reason to play Fullarton yet but this is it. He had a full game in the ruck a few weeks ago and played well, then missed VFL this weekend being the carryover emergency. It's time. He cannot replace Max but it might just give us a different look.- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon

Love this chart, wish you could see more players. No Eagles is quite damning, shows where they're at... a lot of rumblings that the players have given up on Simmo and this would suggest it's true.- POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs West Coast
- Jake Melksham returning
Looks like he's fit enough to go around next year.- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon

- Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
I've seen enough! He stays in the midfield for the rest of the year and trains there all next preseason. He'll need to improve in his work below the knees, but almost everything else about his game I love. Best of all, he's still only 22... prime generally isn't reached until around 25 years old.- GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast
