  1. I don’t want to be negative but we have to have someone more capable of Jack Billings. Gets himself into the right positions I guess, but for a guy who is in the team is as a connector due to his use, he isn’t that good. Can’t kick more than 30, 4 shots at goal couldn’t get 1, missed a couple kicks inside 50 to pretty open players. Thoughts on swapping him with Woey? Not as good disposal but at least he puts his all in and doesn’t mind some contact.
  2. Here's the video, I think the part that got me the most excited is in the first couple of mins when he's on Richmonds VFL team, bounces off 2 blokes inside 50 and finds the teammate instead of blazing away. Physically he's big enough to play.
  3. He seems to have a personality too which annoys me more. goodbye viking
  4. Damn would have loved Alix, Welcome Big Bo AllAn
  5. Think about it JT is a genius. Pick the best WA talent develop him into a beast. He gets homesick, trade him for Harley Reid in a couple years. Brilliant from the dees!
  6. Langford and Bo would be great would also be completely fine with Tauru at 9.
  7. Great question, past couple years Chin comes out super strong then 4-6 weeks in picks up a knee knock or something and tapers the rest of the year.
  8. Feels like last role of the dice. Needs an uninterrupted preseason to see if he can regain form. After that idk, I love Salem as a player but the past couple of years haven't been his best.
  9. Gus was initially part of this in some respect but came out after the first game and said he couldn't handle the emotions etc of not being able to be out there and felt it was best for himself to step away and focus on non footy stuff for a bit. Hopefully back at some point though.
  10. Nothing bad to say. Came in off a serious injury, provided a bit, straightened us up a bit. Hopefully he can return to form before his injury but fine with him staying on as a leader and mentor if his best is past him.
  11. 3rd year KPF breakout feels imminent to me. Would love so see him just start clunking everything and come in looking like how Thilthorpe did at the start of last year for the crows, as a unit.
  12. Although this draft is supposed to be fairly even it still seems like there is an upper echelon on players that ends around 7-8 (maybe sooner), I don't like the idea of splitting 5 and taking the "scraps" of the top 15 or so players, let JT have his pick of the largest pool of players available.
  13. THIS needs more attention. Saying Clarry has fallen in love with the club again and wants to repay it. If Clarry was dominant for the past 5 years leading up to this season with whatever antics occurred behind the scenes next year could be a new level.
  14. It's the new age, Butters, Rose, Sheezel lots of more slight guys that ooze class and speed.
  15. 6. Riv Dog 5. JvR 4.Windsor 3.Langdon 2. Plugger Mac 1. Kossie for finally marking one
  16. Don't forget the 9 intercept possessions, 4th most on the ground!
  17. I just think we look better with some target to take pressure of of JvR and take the number 1 defender, BBB had a good start to the year, didn't watch Casey. I would rather Petty but If you did take him out its for the structure of BBB. Who else do you bring in for him? Fullarto? Doesn't really give me more hope
  18. Everyone wants Petty dropped which is somewhat fair but only if you are bringing BBB in for him. Quiet but provides some form of structure forward and can generally bring it to ground, wouldn't mind telling him to be a defender against Tom Stewart next week.
  19. Not the same player but I reckon you play him similar to Jeremy Cameron, let him get involved all around the ground using his peg to deliver 50m darts.
  20. Professional unit to deliver a professional game. Its either a grind to the end where I expect our class to shine above (See port game) or they roll over and dees by 40+ w/ 3 Kozzie goals.
  21. All for Maysie in, it its just pain management giving him a test run against the crows vs against the lions is much better, trust us to cover him if he can't run the game out against the crows a lot more.
  22. I think there's a 90% chance Tex is rested this week, everyone on Adelaide big footy say his back is shot right now, can't run, can't bend over, can't get his arms above his head. He's also coming off of a 6 day break and a 4 hour flight. However, hard to say since the consensus on Adelaide big footy is they want about 8 dropped including a newly extended coach.
  23. My dream would be Sam Taylor or Weitering, both have contracts ending 2025 but I don’t see either leaving. Weitering maybe if the blues capitulate
  24. PROS: - MAX GAWN - Lowering the eyes going into FWD 50, harder to tell whether it was due to lack of Carlton ability but great to see the bomb it forward approach. - Defense held strong against the best KPF duo in the league, May will still dominate but need a replacement sooner rather than later, he is on the slight decline but still a monster. -Sparrow, I forget who it was that said it but Sparrow either has or needs to realize what he can do, Trac knows he can run through tackles and sparrow started to show he can impact, that step was silky. CONS - Goal kicking, expect this to get better but too many shanks and Fritta is too good for the return he had today. - 2nd ruck, Schache doesn't have the mongrel needed to compete 1v1 in the ruck. - Not seeing Clarry play :( - Kozzie getting me excited and making me wait 2 weeks to see him play.
  25. Salo is not the same type of player as Gus but I imagine it will be similar, where he can provide support down back but silky skills to help the offensive. That's the structural similarity that makes me think it will be fine.
