  1. I assume we have no FTA antenna based on your post! So it is essentially a rebranded monitor in its current form. It's a Samsung Frame TV that my housemate supplied. Shows pretty art most of the time until you turn the TV on, and leaves the living room with an eerie cool blue glow at night since the motion sensor seems to think someone's in the room 24/7 (terrible waste of power).
  2. Yep I have the 7 app from back when the Olympics were on but tbh have no interest in most of the guff on commercial channels so I have no idea if the apps are actually useful! Since I'm based in Sydney, I've got Kayo to ensure access to Dees games (shared with Melb family for some nice cost savings)
  3. Apparently Gil was in Canberra at the federal inquiry into gambling last week explaining to the government that AFL would never survive if not for gambling $$$... NRL was there saying the same thing.
  4. Thanks, Kev! I got really interested in deciphering the state differences for broadcasting and then remembered it means nothing to me since my sharehouse only has a digital TV (and so Kayo only) 😅
  5. He has a bone stress injury to the pelvis, something caused by being still growing apparently It was up on the injury report when he first did it, but they have simplified it to pelvis
  6. Oh dear, tipping Gold Coast was bold of you! Although I tipped GWS, so I feel ya...
  7. Would love to hear your thoughts about Rivers playing some time in the midfield and Clarry having a few minutes in half back! Rivers has had a great start to the season it seems to me
  8. 7 this week! Saves my poor tipping from previous weeks to get to 22.
  9. That would be more sensible imo! But guess this is AFL after all...!
  10. Yep it's sold out but that's because it is a double header. Port Adelaide etc fans have to purchase a ticket to our game to go watch theirs apparently... so likely that our game will have low crowd numbers
  11. Very true, spent Easter with some Filth fans (the things you do for family peace...). They were adamant that it was a good call to get rid of Grundy and that they'd be fine even with Cox out. Said it's better to have players all on the same pay packet rather than someone on more like Grundy.
  12. I'm backing GWS somewhat optimistically today. They were so close last week against Carlton even with Toby Greene essentially out of the game. If that umpire call didn't happen then maybe they'd be going 2-1 right now.
  13. I hope they give him friendly hugs after the game (and after we've cemented a great percentage)
  14. Great work Aliir Aliir! Focused and immense the whole game!
  15. The camera angle was such a troll, A+ thrills for neutral viewing
  16. What an end!!!
  17. Well someone's got to win this game!
  18. It's so disturbing. And now Tom out for concussion too. Feel for the parents to see both their kids out in one night
  19. Whelp that was good fun! Have thankfully recovered some ground in the work tipping comp! ...which could be lost depending on these next two games
  20. Can you give me that Youtube video? Might be more entertaining given my tipping 😂
  21. Me at scoreboard rn:
  22. Look, at least we got the one that matters... the death ride! ☠
  23. I've got some serious ground to make up after a bad Round 1 and Round 3 😅
  24. Well, still three quarters to go! But for my own tipping, hope you're wrong haha
  25. Did you end up tipping the Dogs, @layzie?
