Nothing to be ahead of. There’s been talks since the GF about it. Much like Petraccas extension last year. Almost exactly the same. Gus will stay, Jackson is still making up his mind but his manager will be in Melbourne next week.

How do you know LJ is still  undecided.  Inside source? It seems ridiculously drawn out. Surely he' made up his mind and simply a matter of the money pool with the other players.

  2. Wouldnt surprise me at all if LJ and Bradshaw's new contracts announced to the world just days before playing down at the Cattery. The players will be pumped.

Oliver's 7 years deal came out of nowhere. All these contracts probably intertwined.

  3. Yep, whats all this nonesense about AFL players having to live close to mummy and daddy . Do they talk like this about  young NRL  players??

And stop referring to them as kids. I think its a women thing thats crept in  over recent years.

    Theyre young men not kids.

Its not as if Jacksons parents live in a cave in Syria. He can get on  a plane and visit backwater Perth 2 or 3 times a year.  Jackson is the only person eho hasnt commented on his contract.

    I bet  he stays.

  4. .....have faith !!

    The Pope says hi.

This is it for SW. He has to step up. T/mac gone  atleast till Sept probably 2023. JVR too raw. Must serve his apprenticeship in the VFL till sometime next season.

    Huge risk playing  now.

Its up to the Weed. Start praying for a miracle.

  5. Surely Melbournr has left behind that  caper of signing premiership burnouts. Noteable exception Jordan Lewis who offered his experience to the dees as they were coming  good.

Remember  Catoggio and Young from Carlton.

    Bleak times.

    perfect time to plunder em

happened to us when we were down too - rivers, moloney, frawley, sylvia all walked out on us

North has left a bad taste in my mouth since the days of Ron Casey and his VFL  buddies and their game day massacres over us.

Plundering talent sounds terrific. Lets go for Essendons forward Wright!

    North?     uggggh.

    Ben Brown is very sad.

I'm referring to the current mob at North not BB who left two years ago. Thats my lame excuse anyway.lol

Actually BB better get going pretty soon or he might get dropped. Its unlikely  but he was dropped a few times during '21.

  8. I dont want any North players coming over to us.  I dont care if theyre dejected and miserable.

No-one ever gave a stuff about us in the bad times.

North tried to injure Langdon a few weeks ago and some other players too.

    North can rot.

Agree with your first point about Mitch Brown. Just doesn't have what it takes anymore to be a regular AFL player.

With your last point, in fairness Geelong also have a five day break too. I expect multiple Geelong restings given they have North at home next weekend.

True, but Geelong have the luxury of being home to clueless North.

My guess is Scott will tell his players to put North to bed asap before half-time. He'll then rest his oldest players and coast in the second half.

We wont have that luxury although the crows seem to have copped  injuries. If Walker out then we should have an easy day..........maybe.

    Stilll beat Geelong.

  10. Mitch Brown played an absolute blinder in  the VFL on Sat. Frustrating he cant go to the next level.

No change for the creepy trip to Karak.

Gawn can rest up at home. We need him for gloomy  dark Mordor.

Great draw we have. Nothing changes.
