I have the belief that the situation up in Brisbane is the same as in Port. Wasted great lists and home ground advantage for years, and the coach could be sacked soon due to lack of finals success. This may be an off topic post but I overheard a Filth supporter at work saying that Petracca should go to Collingwood because after all he grew up as a Collingwood supporter. I am pretty sure that Petraccas opinion and sentiment towards the filth is much different now than it was 15 years ago.

Sorry to hear that WCW, I can relate because mum has been dealing with one tumour the last 3 years. As a son it's hard for me specially with her being 13,000 km away. Hope your kids can offer you the comfort and support you need in these challenging times. After a goodnights sleep I have decided to stop my bickering about our coach, as much as I still consider a change of coach is due. Nothing I say here will change things so I will take a chill pill and try to look at the bright side of things, I loved Rivers in the midfield and Kynan Brown efforts, I also hope to see Taj given more opportunities.

Thanks for your thorough analysis and understanding of the different supporters that live anonymously here in DL. I appreciate you have provided some perspective on how to enjoy the ride and to focus on the positive. I think many have said play the kids, and I would be happy if that actually happened. I would like to see Taj, Kynan, Tholstrup, Jefferson, Sestan more on a regular basis. Really give them a chance, play 3 or 4 weeks in a row and see what we have. Add to that, Turner to the backline.

How did you feel about the way K Brown debut was handled? I feel we are not doing justice to our F/S players, see Taj. It may explain why these kids sometimes have confidence issues even at VFL level. Must be very frustrating to be given such a small opportunity and then be dropped the next week.

He is far from his best, it's almost as he was abducted by Aliens last year around June and the Clarry we have today is a bad clone or something, can't believe the quick decline from just 12 months. Really it's hard to know what's best to do with him. I think the real Clarry is still somewhere inside him, but how do we make it flourish again?

No need to criticise the Deebrief here. It's just a different approach to the same feeling, the Melbourne Football club. I enjoy both podcasts for different reasons. Both have merit in my view.

I'll just ask the following: If we find ourselves 2026 with no finals wins, so no more premierships from this current core, would you find yourself disappointed? Specially looking back at October 2021 and what you thought about our future?
