Beg to differ. After 2000 there's been 3 dynasties. Lions, Hawks and Tigers. We should've been the next one. 2022 if not for the injuries and mismanagement of our fitness coming into finals, it probably was a GF appearance for sure and who knows.

The fact is, we wasted our premiership window for multiple reasons: - lack of game plan adjustment (too late Goodwin) - lack of strengthening our list. Tell me just one smart and good FA recruitment from 2022 until now. - lack of self-criticism. The coach failed to recognise his tactical failures for far too long. Anyway, now the window is truly shut but luckily we have some good young talent. Let's do a Hawks like rebuild.

There hasn't been since last year. Even more, for many reasons his whole tenure has been a roller coaster. A fun one most of the time, but a roller coaster in deed.

The way the leaders of the playing group performed today speaks louder than anything we can say here. If they love their coach son much you'd think the effort and commitment would be always there. I am not affirming what Hellfire posted but you can't but wonder how committed the players are with their coach.

Reality is,it will always be easier to sack one coach than overhauling your list of A grade players.

Mind boggles why we were not able to bring some A grade talent while being premiership fancies.
