    It may only be me but I kind of saw Fritsch helping him by blocking the Tiger defenders, which gave JVR more time and space to prepare his mark.

    The NBA is a bit unique in the sense that, unlike domestic leagues, it has a global reach. Most NBA fans are fans of star players, not the teams themselves. LeBron fans moved from Cleveland, to Miami, back to Cleveland and so on.

    I think with most sports people tend to leave their better natures outside the door. Granted not everyone do to the same extreme level as some ferals but, we do change if only slightly. There's a tribalism involved with team sports.
