POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast
I felt he was disengaged somewhat at Roo's debut announcement and was disappointed not to see him at R3 supporting the team (was interstate?). I hope we are offering flexibility in his contract and would be happy for another 2 years, and then wish him well should he decide to leave, rather than only offer a long term contract. His mood is likely reflective of a person trying to please everyone but knowing someone will end up disappointed. My thoughts are he will go, but ... 🙏

Ticketing 2023
Same situation for me too, leuc. I noticed a little while ago there were dry seats behind the cheer squad, so I might book my freebie there, and when the Dees are kicking that way, make myself comfortable. At least it won't be going to WCE. ... a little later ... I now have 2 seats, one at each end of Optus. I think they call it a win-win!

Ticketing 2023
'twas a night to remember, certainly. My only ever GF, in my (now) home state, just a pity it wasn't against WCE.

Ticketing 2023
Did you try a "dry" area. They were available a while ago behind the cheer squad, but not my cuppa tea (excuse the pun).

Ben Brown Opts Out Of Betting Ads
If a whole team elected to opt out ... that would get things going! And if the Dees did that, AND make it to the 2023 GF, what would be the odds?! I'd like to see that!!

Ticketing 2023
From Membership: Allocation is exhausted and waiting on WCE to release more seats! - its optional for them (which I cant see happening looking at the available GA seats on sale). Elected to purchase GA tickets where I wanted to sit rather than where Ticketmaster wants me to, and effectively my one free ticket of the year becomes redundant. Frustrating to say the least.

Ticketing 2023
So I guess I must be too late, as Ticketmaster site says they couldn't find any tickets! Should I take it up with membership? Seems ludicrous that the Dees allotment would be sold out so soon, but then ...?

Medical Sub OUT Tactical Sub IN
Please explain!! ... the merits of having 22 players rotating and a sub vs 23 players rotating? What is the benefit to the game? Its not like you have a choice of subs (a la soccer) to "tactically" make a difference. The change actually makes the medi-sub look more logical. I give it 2 years.

AFLW: 2022 GRAND FINAL
I really respect and admire Daisy, but wearing a Geelong sponsor's brand to an MFC media conference(21 Nov) is a BIG faux pas, despite us knowing you are off to the dark side (but wishing you well)!! Cotton off 😉

Farewell Luke Jackson
Calling wannabe bards! When Goody to Gawny deferred, Dogga made his rep in the third, he went missing next season, She said "home" is the reason, So now I just think he's a 💩.

Have we been worked out?
Personally I take solace in the knowledge that no other team wants to play us in the finals ... until they are forced to in the 2022 GF.

Concerns With Our Small Forwards
Our slow entries into F50 are just so predictable (bombing) that the opposition congestion makes it near on impossible for small fwds to break free. It seemed in the first qtr (vs Cwood) that we were delivering the ball flatter to our fwds, or at least trying, but after half time, reverted back to lobbing it in again. I admit I know nought about tactics and strategy, but if the fwdline is congested I'd like to see more set shots from near the 50 arc, as we do have some capable long kicks in the team. Also, if we are expecting 5 or 6 goal run-ons every match in the 3rd or 4th qtr, we will remain disappointed. While I'm giving my tuppence worth, I'm not a great fan of multiple player in's either (unless essential), especially if they are dropped back to the two's the following week becoz they didn't gel as well as expected. Goody would have been "dropped" time and time again prior to 2021 if it applied to coaches.

Ohhhh, so this is what losing feels like! I'd forgotten!

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs West Coast
Well attendance might be down as trains (main way of getting there) have been cancelled to optus and other destinations due to an "incident" (usually a suicide). Diabolical Weagle fans will do anything!

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
I'm waiting for the AFL directive to broadcasters not to replay contentious free kicks.
