  1. Dawes adds further pressure and provides yet another BIG forward option which will definitely stretch really good teams defensively much less Greater Western Shizen! Vince also a must! Toumpas in first quarter when Kent was being assessed was like a bunny in headlights, needs to go back to Casey for an extended period and play ON BALL to learn some grunt! For Next week and although JKH did some useful things I think it will be Vince for Toumpas and Dawes for JKH pending a sore Garland!
  2. I've seen Brayshaw play last year and this year at Casey. I'll say it now, the kid will start in the midfield and have an instant impact, he will go on and play 250 + Games and captain the side one day! I hope I haven't put the mozz on him? I do rate him highly!
  3. Carlton's match day Runner Clint Bizzell?!
  4. Anyone know who Carltons match day runner is Ex DEE and Cats player?
  5. Agree also defining game for Jimmy Toumpas. I would play Howe Forward, Swing Cross to Half back and play Brayshaw in the pivot minute 1 game 1 and see what he has got! J K H to sub
  6. And a great statement! What's the bet the two former Captains will be not at the club in 2016. Now there is a provocative and emphatic vision! Is it also the way forward??
  7. Im not, Howe a better player than Grimes!!
  8. Toumpas gets a game in a massive show of faith! Would want to fire Big Time!! IMO Having said that a very good team! Pederson unlucky! Gee Vince would be spewin if IF he is fit! Happy tho that they have given him another week! Frost and Hogan talls and Dawes back next round ! I'm salivating already!!
  9. I am really really pleased that this is happening, a great tribute to a Universally admired Person! Not only a great footballer but a really admired Human being! I hope on Saturday we start the year with a really strong win!! Rob would love a win first up! Go Dees
  10. Christian Petracca will be the new Steve Johnson bookmark it!!
  11. And dya know what The AFL have acted very smartly with this!! They have deflected the obvious decision knowing that WADA and ASADA will immediately smell a rat and launch an appeal, Thus leaving the AFL not holding the Baby!! Smart thinking BUT Mud still sticks!!
  12. If I see another goose wearing his Essendon jumper in shopping centres I will spew! Anyone else seen the hordes of wackos out and about?
  13. I believe something is planned not sure what, but definitely something occuring on Saturday according to my Sauce! I hope it is befitting of Robbie and his stature in the game!
  14. Would much rather Brayshaw than players like Jordy and Toumpas. I like what I HAVE seen! I agree, pump 50 games into him Quick!
  15. Obviously you don't do it now! I refer to the end of this year! Surely that is OBVIOUS!
  16. I think Trengove is "Cactus" I reckon the club knew it and therefore a trade with Richmond was always going to be a win for us! Unless a miracle occurs I cannot see him at the club next year! I would be aghast if he was offered a new contract on the basis that he may come back. I reckon his dwindling pace will be further compromised and in view of where we are at I don't believe we should be looking at him sticking around next year. Time to pass! and move on!
  17. Like Diamond Jim Tillbrook, Cale Morton, Jordyn Gysberts, Brent Grgic, "Juice Newton" et al I could go on but as long as I understand that through Thick and Thin you will always support anyone in a Melbourne Jumper then gee that's really really great! Pity is though those we have got it so bloody terribly wrong now with our recruiting for such a long time these sentiments will not win us a Premiership!
  18. Here's another Conspiracy theory for ya. Best Mates BEST MATES!! Well if my best mate was available I would want him playing alongside with me "Come Whatever May" And Viney suggested that Toumpas was the man to pick?? Come on give me a break?! Something has definitely gone down here and the Red Herring is alive and well!
  19. Yeah well here's a thought Outa Left Field! Maybe he was thinking that in time! Sheesh, Well its a tough gig to get a game out there!
  20. [censored]! Good teams have multiple leads when in possession and good teams pick the right option! Nup Not having it! Not the callers fault, the decision making of Viney was shizen in this instance!!
  21. Hnmm you are as seriously Biased as I was with my support of one "Juice Newton"!! Look, he has played 2 and a half good games in 2 plus years! Shhesh he aint and never will, have it! Would love to be proved Wrong but I cannot see it! Little pace and not hungry enough! Time to move on, He aint the future!
  22. Ah um Yes!! Say no more!
  23. Sorry Couldn't resist! Anyone else see that feeble effort to spoil at the 5 minute mark second quarter? Maybe an early third round pick!! probably Adelaide might be interested. I'm calling it!
  24. Addendum! Agree with all , Hogan yep good to see him on the park but in 3 Games Hasn't done much for mine! Would much rather see him at CHF let him run wild and straight up the ground ala Nick Reiwoldt! also noted the following Mc Donald still doesn't know body on body footy, Joe Daniher outpositioned him many times have mentioned this aspect before. Yep our kick out strategy is the worst in the AFL We have a slow midfield Jamar adequate at centre bounces but does not do enough around the ground Our decision making and ability to handball to a player under extreme hammer is becoming legendary Our run and spread are lacking We take too long to kick the ball into our inside 50 Already Mentioned Garlett and Lamumba, the fact that these two were our best players closely followed by Dawes is telling and potentially dangerous We have no Game Breaker at all at our club! Not one that can take a game by the throat and win it with skill, drive and conviction. We lack a mongrel presence in our side. We have no legitimately "Tough" Players. The last one we had was Byron Pickett and in spite of the fact he was near finished when he came to us still made guys around him stand tall. That will do for the moment but to reiterate WE LOST TO A RAG TAG OF A TEAM WITH MANY OF THEIR BEST OUT AND IF THAT IS THE PROMISE OF THINGS TO COME I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS, How much does it cost to hire a RANGE ROVER for the weekend? and When do the chair lifts start at Hotham?
  25. And not forgetting Norwood's leading goal kicking premiership player last season! Hnmm
