  1. A similar program to what the Weagles do would work too, they credit the seat sale towards your membership fees the following year. I don't think they take a commission, but it's a nice way to entice you to stay a member the following year. Seat Return Program | West Coast Eagles (ticketmaster.com)
  2. In an email sent on May 18th from the club - "Important Member Info | Upgrade to attend Round 13"
  3. They're second bottom of the ladder, we're 2nd. They had kicked 1 goal until half time. I expect better from us. I think it's a nice win, but it's far from destroying them though.
  4. Shame tonight isn't that night ;) Kept them to 1 goal until half time and then they smashed 5 in a quarter. It's a nice win, but we've destroyed no one.
  5. No joke our skills are both sublime and pathetic. Schrodinger's skills.
  6. Standard. Whenever they think it's an easy win they come out with no intensity. Better tidy it up.
  7. The one who failed every unit of every basic science subject but is now a covid/vaccine/flat earth/whatever expert. We all have one....
  8. Hahahaha. Sorry. The first part was firmly tongue in cheek :D Hard to convey that over text I guess heh.
  9. Typical AFL. Redefining words to suit their agenda again. Nothing Brad said was unfair, unreasonable or excessive. It was in fact fair, reasonable and once. ;)
  10. I think not. The AFL has a list of "reportable offences" with which videos can be requested to use as evidence and you can present videos of similar offences that have been cited or explained by the MRO. Apart from that I believe it's a no go. Wouldn't want to be able to point out the ridiculousness of the system would we? :D
  11. Well, according to the AFL 2023 Tribunal Guidelines, unless something has been cited by the MRO (with or without penalty) it cannot be presented as evidence in a tribunal hearing. I'm not sure if the appeals process is bound by the same guidelines, but it could be. Purely a guess on my behalf though.
  12. If (when? Hopefully when!) we do appeal and JVR finally has the charge dropped might I suggest "From 6-6-6 and 2-2-0, JVR is good to GO!"
  13. What the actual [censored]. Joke. Complete utter joke.
  14. Even Dennis Denuto would have a hard time in the farce that is the AFL tribunal system. It's the vibe.
  15. Oh of course it is. I don't think JVR has anything to answer here, it's one of the stupidest MRO gradings I think I've seen in a while. I just think that if he said something like what was above the AFL would play it off as "well you knew you'd make contact so you've breached your duty of care." I'm kind of glad he answered how he did.
  16. I would guess they'd respond with something like - AFL - "So you thought you'd likely make contact but elected to continue?"
  17. As we should. Very happy to see the club get behind and show support to a young bloke. I would’ve been rather upset if we didn’t.
  18. True. So if we just take in to account current top 8 sides we get - Collingwood - 2 fourth quarters won (28 and 29 points), 1 lost (1 point) and 1 was a draw. Melbourne - 1 fourth quarter won (27 points). The one quarter that Collingwood lost by 1 point was against the same top 8 side that we won the final quarter against, that being Brisbane. The other teams we've doubled up on are - Essendon - Melb won the fourth by 9 points, Collingwood by 41. Richmond - Melb won the fourth by 20 points, Collingwood lost it by 14. In short what these numbers can accurately tell us is absolutely nothing. They are completely and utterly meaningless, but they are interesting to look at, nonetheless.
  19. Actually that's a great point, so here it is. Last Quarters - F/A Collingwood - 191/93 Melbourne - 243/106 I still think in terms of fourth quarters we are as good, if not better than Collingwood. The only reason Collingwood get the media attention is due to the fact it looks exciting because they're always coming back from behind and barely getting the win.
  20. 7 rounds in. Total 4th quarter scores. Collingwood - 191 Points. Melbourne - 243 Points.
  21. Geez you're not wrong about resting players. Oliver TOG - 79% Trac TOG - 75% Not sure when (if ever) I've seen numbers that low for either of them, they're normally both mid/high 80s.
