  1. I am not a BBB hater, but my issue with Ben is he doesn't really provide us with any other options apart from mark, kick etc. He is too frequently outmarked and unable to bring the ball to ground, his forward pressure, chasing etc is almost non-existent, he can only play one position, and at times, he is diabolical in terms of output. He is yet to kick a bag for us. If Turner gets a go, at the very least he will provide us with an improved contest and increased forward pressure. Yes, BBB has been good at times, but moving forward we need improvement in the areas he is deficient. Lets give Turner a go.

Let me outline Yze's game plan.

    1. Don't kick it high into the Richmond fwd line

    2. Chip the ball into the fwd line. Dirty balls work well against the Dees.

    3. Avoid May and Lever

    4. Pressure them relentlessly and watch them crumble

    5. Avoid May and Lever

    6. Jump into Gawn's back at every single opportunity. Hold him scragg him - he never gets a free so don't worry

    7. Shake Olivers hand really hard at the start of the game. Give him lots of high fives

    8. Avoid May and Lever.

9 Above all and if you have forgotten everything else, avoid May and Lever

You haven't covered the elephant in the room. May & Lever

  3. I get the feeling training is over, footys getting signed and handed out, autographs, photos, nothing special, only news is Viney not training. No rehab, all players in attendance trained fully. Trac finished session with no strapping. McAdam and Melk doing extra. Tholstrup is big enough to play AFL already!! May still showing signs of discomfort .

  4. Team doing full ground movement drill, 16 vs 12, everyone involved, moving ball out of backline, seems to be more about finding open player, no contest, every player involved, doesn’t seem to be any issues with injuries. Concentrating on running in waves, which the opposition seemed to do to us a lot last year.

  5. Schache was definitely there. When the team bus arrived, there was a heap of whooping and hollering in the rooms, then lots of love for McAdam on the field. That’s why I got the impression he might debut. I don’t think the selectors will make any decisions until Wednesday night, but with Chin, considering it’s his good knee that was strapped heavily, and his general demeanour, I don’t think he’ll play. BBB and T Mac will definitely be wait and see.

  6. As training progresses (very casually) and the boys start handing out little footys, BBB and Chin are alternating on the bike. Clarry is in seemingly no discomfort, May still seems sore, Tom Mc did stuff all, Trac was VERY limited and had a long chat with Goody, Chin was very down, shaking his head, BBB walking ok, but not trying to do anything intense. Everybody else seemed ok, BUT, I am 58 and I could have completed that training no problem!!

I doubt Ben Brown will do much training this season, let alone between short breaks.

Does Trac have any visible bandages or strapping?

Trac looks fine, no strapping, just not his normal self. The only people with noticeable strapping are Chin and Tom Mc
