Just found my seat. Sun's out and I'm in a bag full of Dees supporters. Bay 4 Ponting Stand. Happy days. We got this.

Still at home 10k or so south of Boot Park and it's a bit grim - cloudy, windy and a little on the cool side. Probably won't rain as it's a bit drought like here at the moment but every chance of a few drops. Further update when I get there around 12-12.30.

Will be at the game and have a good feeling about this. So we will probably lose by 10 goals. Either way cannot wait to get to the ground and see the boys in action.

The forecast is 14 so probably not much sun, but being on the Western side of the ground it shouldn't be in my vision anyway.

My ticket (from the club) says Ricky Ponting Stand (in Bay 4 like Graeme mentioned), which is weird as when I phoned to to book it the girl said it was in the seats in front of the Hill. I'm much happier in the Ponting as I won't be looking into the sun. Is there any open training sessions? Got a Freo supporting mate who has an unhealthy obsession with Jack Watts and was hoping to drag him along to have a photo taken.

Today's performance stunk worse than one of my dog's turds.

All day our bludgers trailed behind their opponent. Some of them didn't even get that close.

And that would have included a lot of Norf flogs who have 3 or 4 memberships (from when they were meant to go to the Gold Coast) scanning the lot as they go through the gate. Bulldogs bandwagon seems to have gathered a lot more going by today's crowd.

Tonight - Eels hopefully beating Bulldogs, tomorrow - bringing our new Labrador puppy home from the breeder, and probably cleaning up Hawthorn coloured marks off the carpet for the next few weeks. Also have 2 metres of sand to put down for paving and just as much pine bark - it won't be getting done next weekend!!!

Just got a call to say a ticket is coming my way. Happy days. This will be the 14th Dees game I will be at and we are 13 from 13 so it's a certain win. It will be good to (hopefully) beat Norf after all this time, especially as we used to beat them for fun.

Oddly enough it is $1.00 at the moment.
