  1. That’s ok, we’ll win 2 of those, have the bye and he’ll give his body a rest. Cherry ripe come September. Everything on track . “I’ve got my rose coloured glasses on and it’s all ok 🎼”
  2. It doesn’t normally bother me but watching that with a Max getting belted leaves me sour
  3. 774…..one of the reporters, not sure who. He’s had a scan and he’s unlikely to play this week but it’s possible
  4. They won’t play Schache, he just doesn’t have it. I liked the idea but after watching Casey I’m far from convinced. I actually do t think we have an obvious answer. I’d probably play Smith because at least he can run and chase
  5. The world’s going to sht in a hand basket. We are surrounded by violence yet we expect this not to happen. There’s a fair chunk of football followers who are total lowlife scumbags. I’m an MCC member but far from a toff. The game against Collingwood last year my family and friends were verbally abused for the entire second half. I used to love the light hearted banter between opposition supporters but lately that’s just been replaced with incoherent abusive ramblings. No fun or joy in that. It’s a game FFS, we’re supposed to be able to enjoy it. Now we rely on underpaid, poorly trained, largely immigrant security forces to maintain civility.
  6. Fremantle is a must win. One week at a time. Breathe
  7. With Oliver likely out with a hamstring Sparrow will need to play his role and Trac will need to spend more time in the middle. I really hope his foot/ankle is fully healed as he's in for a big few weeks. It actually might make us a little unpredictable with Oliver out. If Max, Trac, Viney and Sparrow can get the job done next week I'll be happy. It's still the forward half that worries me.
  8. When was he last out of the side?
  9. On the radio just now it appears unlikely Oliver will be available next week
  10. If we win all 3 I'll run naked around my house. (Best not take that to the public)
  11. Both Viney and Harmes are excellent shut down players. We're coached like we're the best. That's no longer true. We need to negate the best (Anderson, Butters, Cripps, Daicos....) Just get them shutdown and work around that. It doesn't make sense allowing the opposition a soft outlet around the ball. It staggers me Goodwin and co still act like it's the back end of 21.
  12. What I hated the most as I sat screaming at the TV for the clear around the neck the commentators are lauding the tackle, even on replay? Mind boggling how these clowns get a gig.
  13. Has it been confirmed that Bowey won't play?
  14. He played the last quarter, it’s a precautionary scan, Relax FFS
  15. We stay fourth and win next week
  16. Bowey is injured, we need a third marking tall in defence. He was really good today at Casey. I just think the 3 talks in defence served us well
  17. I’d play Turner for the next 4 weeks and let him show us if he’s good enough.
  18. I put my rose coloured glasses back on and realised we only lost by 4 points to an inform PA side on their home deck with the umpires on their side and we only really played well for one quarter. Premiership anyone? That’s just so much better.
  19. Out: Hunter, Bowey(inj) In: Sparrow, Turner
  20. And it’s a much better place to visit than Geelong which remains a [censored]. Good food and bars
  21. If the players are as annoyed about last night as I am we should win the next 6. Interesting few months ahead.
