  1. He was saying during the week how tired he was feeling so I reckon he just had a flat game after all the travel etc.
  2. 2 tackles and 12 pressure acts is pretty poor from a specialist 'defensive winger'. He had a poor game. Not the end of the world or his career, but find it strange people are working so hard to defend it.
  3. I'm sure they did at some stage, but that doesn't mean "Langdon matched up on Seedsman almost all day,"
  4. Had his role changed later in the game on Sunday so I reckon that's a sign he wasn't playing his role to Goody's requirements.
  5. Yeah it sucks mate. We'll all just possibly have to save up the hugs and high fives for the first time the pubs open up 100%. Perhaps the club could organize a replay event (should we even get to the GF) at the Victoria Sporting Globe venues?
  6. Possibly, but Gibbo is currently our media guy, photographer, runner and probably more, so wouldn't be surprised if he's on top of this stuff and has something in the works.
  7. One thing I think our club does well, especially factoring in our budget and resources, is being innovative with trying to look after the fans. The virtual Bluey, AGM (might not have been the AGM, but we had a virtual club presentation I recall), even little things like the MFC cookies and vouchers the club handed out at Perth airport to Dees fans rocking up to the prelim in 2018. I reckon they'd already be throwing together ideas for ways to connect with the fans or have some kind of experience options that will suit the restrictions at the time. Could be something like a watch party even. And if not, MFC here's your chance to start planning something of the sort so that us fans can at least 'virtually' connect with each other during the finals games. *cough* GIbbo *cough*
  8. You're welcome to rock up to the club on Monday and offer to teach Kozzy how to deal with racism. Pathetic comments from you that show your lack of understanding of the subject. Rather than dig in and make it worse you should step back from the keyboard and have a proper think about what you're saying. No one has 'misrepresented' it.
  9. Calling it early: "We haven't shown up!!" 😉
  10. FFS. Imaging jumping on the internet to anonymously tell a 20 year old Indigenous AFL footballer they need to 'toughen up a bit' in the face of the racism they've faced all their life. Pathetic comment and it's sad that you will never have the self awareness to even think about what you said.
  11. And this thread is now about umpires, Trump and as much about 'Macca' as he can make it. It's sad these threads always go this way, and it's probably a microcosm of why headway on racism is such a slog.
  12. We brought in Jordon for TMac given the wet conditions though, and the forecast I've seen for the G on Sunday is absolutely perfect. Personally, would have gone back to the 2 key forwards and brought out Jordon or Sparrow.
  13. You are, albeit potentially not on purpose. So stop.
  14. Papers stamped for Weid IMO.
  15. It's clearly just going to be 'whataboutism'. Don't engage. 'Macca' is just the next in line poster in this thread trying to deflect and minimize the experience of Indigenous people in this country because they either can't or won't comprehend how racism is about power and that's why it's not the same experience for everyone.
  16. Can everyone please stop engaging with this trash. This thread is meant to be about support and discussion around one of our Indigenous players being the victim of racism, it's not meant to be a grievance guessing game for trolls. Step back and take a good look at yourself 'Macca'.
  17. IMO Bedford is there for Kozzy if he decides he needs to take a break after the week he's had. Wouldn't blame him. Love ya Koz.
  18. Yep, pretty clearly not under his neck as has been suggested. I also like the mental image of them rolling through the pages of a flick book in the hearing... 😆
  19. It's not "segregation" to try and raise up a culture that has been oppressed for hundreds of years by having a few footy awards to celebrate their contribution and attempt to instill a bit of pride. But I wouldn't expect someone who posts things like this to understand that, so take your rubbish elsewhere.
  20. Can't see exactly what happens, but it's at least as long as Viney's. Staggered this has been swept under the carpet. Is something only a 'bad look' if it's shown on repeat by channel 7?
  21. Very very brief mention on it on Gus & Gawny here at 36 mins in.
