Alright mate, bit 'sharp' lately compared to the chill Nash we've always known, hope things are ok.

Wasn't that long ago you thought Harmes might come out for Melksham or vandenBerg mate...

I'm not a massive fan of Harmes as a player, but he's had so many mixed messages (right or wrong) from Goodwin over the last 2 years and has been frustrated most of that time. Clearly played out of position last year, this year was put more into a role that suits his strengths but was then given very specific instructions on how to play it and what to do; which made it more complicated - and let's be honest, he's the kind of player who needs it simple - and I wouldn't be surprised if that's had an impact on this apparent want for a trade. He was very very close to requesting a trade last year but Yze smoothed things over, as he's done with a lot of players, and he was swayed. I know Harmes and Goody sometimes have had their moments, but you can't underestimate how much he and his family are invested in the club so I'd be somewhat surprised if a trade did eventuate; although not totally disappointed tbh.

He had a dip in form recently when playing mid/forward, just had his best game for weeks back on the wing. It's a no from me.

But good sir, what you have missed here is that I was highlighting your post as an example of the trend in posts about the subject. It was used as a reference point that I then build upon with facetiousness but it was a general observation with your post as a step in the process, rather than a direct retort addressing your post in a point by point manner. Your defence of "but my hyperbole was facetious and yours wasn't!" is pretty flimsy old chap.

Stretching it here. Green was being held and was then whacked, Collins was the one grabbing Viney and initiating the scuffle here. There was also no strike. It's not an accurate comparison.

This is sarcasm yes? Surely... References cited below... Collins initiated it. Viney was about to be off to the next play when Collins dragged him down by the jumper with two hands. It's a wrestle. The sad thing is, the outrage machine has well and truly kicked in now and he'll likely get a worse punishment than he deserves. The references to George Floyd by some today are appallingly bad, a ridiculous stretch and frankly pretty insulting to that situation and it's context.

Oh FFS. This incident gets worse and worse as every person tries to one up the previous one with the descriptions and comparisons... I heard Viney tried to rip out his voice box as the poor defenceless 194cm, 100kg small child was desperately trying to call out for help to his family who Viney had already abducted and had tied up in his boot... Deserves the chair. Nothing less. AFL should also strip as of our premiership points.
