The pow wow
Goody this week: "...bring that consistency in how we play, that ruthlessness and that hunger...." ..."that ruthless edge about how we play..." “It’s a complete buy in to what we do from a method perspective, it’s a complete buy in to the behaviours that sit within it and there’s an urgency and ruthlessness about how you go about it." Demonland: 'YES GOODY!' Kingy: 'The Dees need to find that hunger and ruthlessness, they need to buy in....' Demonland: 'Shut up Kingy what would you know!'

That's fair enough then. Agree that it would be annoying to start the loading debate again!

The pow wow
Why can't it be both? FWIW, I agree with you about our taxing game style, and I'm in the loading camp (albeit not as invested in it as yourself), but Goodwin, Petracca and Brayshaw have all talked about us trying to find our 'ruthlessness' again this week. That speaks pretty clearly to complacency and attitude. And tbh, pretty poor form to tell other posters not to debate or provide rebuttal of your opinion that we've been "loading in EVERY game since round 11". You ask King for facts, can you provide the actual facts that prove that? All things said, it's patently obvious the keyword this week is "ruthless" and that absolutely speaks more towards attitude than fitness.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Nah, no goss, sorry mate! Seems bad though (from the outside) when watching him, was noticeable with his tackling and handballing last week.

3 Clubs Chasing Kozzy
Welcome to the life of being a premiership supporter I guess...

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Sorry, edited my post after realizing you were asking about Gawn not Harmes, haven't had a coffee yet! I definitely think we're a lot more banged up this year than last year, plus we've had more bad luck during the season, but fingers crossed we can finish top 4 and get everyone cherry ripe to peak during September.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Not totally sure sorry. Just know he's still carrying it and not 100%. We're carrying a few sore ones atm apparently.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Gawn isn't 100% either. He'll play again, but his ankle is nowhere near what it needs to be.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Harmesy copped a knock early in the second. Not himself the rest of the game, no one had any idea why including the coaches. Apparently felt terrible the next day and then failed the concussion test. He's pretty flat about it by all reports, hope he's right and firing for finals - underrated team player.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Goody tends to not bother too much with positions on the team announcement, so wouldn't think it would happen. Hope so! But as above...

Farewell Luke Jackson
Make of it what you will given it's old mate...

Farewell Luke Jackson
No decision will be made until our season is over, which I believe a fair few posters have mentioned now. Richo talks about it here (about 5:30 in).

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Literally no one said 'we're in the box seat'. I mentioned we'd spoken to him and made that offer. Did you catch the news about how a 'premiership contender' had offered him a deal? Coincidence I guess.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Probably a long shot given his age, injury and home town, but get the impression we'll be key forward shopping this offseason. Totally agree he's likely a longer term prospect, but don't mind the idea of him in a combo with JVR down the track.

Dees and Gus trolling the Dockers before our game...

Nup, Perth... 😬

Farewell Luke Jackson
Would we ask the question?

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Does this mean he's a good bloke and a handy player again?

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
But the big question remains, does this mean his manager WAS in Melbourne....? 😉

Breakfast with Simon Goodwin in Perth
Yes, literally all the time mate.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
He said he had spoken to Gus about it all, and I highly doubt his brother would 'stir the pot' for the sake of it when talking about his brother's career.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
3rd in the Brownlow. Was in good form when he signed, but had also been dropped for the start of the season. He's said previously (about his current deal) he wishes he was on anywhere near the 600k the media had reported.

Hamish. Might be worth getting up to speed mate.
