  1. Pick 27 and a future 3rd (which would be say pick 50) = Pick 19 points wise. Reckon that's a fair deal for Grundy. Fingers crossed.
  2. Perhaps 27 and a future 3rd?
  3. 100%. Also got the feeling I wouldn't like to be on the opposite side of the table to Sergeant Lamb!
  4. 'Blake Howes was on the verge of selection before his injury' Telling you. One to watch next year.
  5. Speaking to media on Monday, Power stated Hunter is expected to remain at Whitten Oval for 2023. "Lachie is contracted for another few years and he hasn't requested a trade," Power said. "We expect him to be at the Bulldogs next year." Bulldogs provide clarity on winger Lachie Hunter, free agent Zaine Cordy: AFL trade news
  6. Absolutely, we'd have to have very low expectations. I'd just see him as a younger Mitch Brown. Will be good for Casey, might play an AFL game or two, but that would be about it.
  7. Haven't followed him closely, but he's definitely more of a swingman now. In saying that, finished the year off in the VFL with a few big bags of goals.
  8. Fair call, BUT if they did pull the trigger on Petty forward and JVR comes in too then all of a sudden we have a couple of absolute mongrels inside 50.
  9. If Schache came in to fill the depth spot left by Mitch Brown then I don't absolutely hate it tbh. He'd come in on minimum chips and would expect to play mostly VFL IMO. They can't all be zingers...
  10. Didn't hear Lyon's comments so not sure exactly what he said, but Harmes has spoken with Essendon. Don't know how much chance to move, but he has 100% spoken to them.
  11. Seem to remember WC talking about the possibility of splitting that pick 2 though. In saying that, a deal will somehow happen with Freo, and I think Lobb will get traded - This is Ding Dong Bell we're dealing with remember? The same bloke who 'walked away' from Hogan negotiations.
  12. Dunstan is already on our list. He doesn't need to 'come into Harmes' spot' on the list. No context change needed, just some hand holding and walking through apparently.
  13. No, you just jumped into a conversation late and misunderstood it. Have a good one.
  14. You were looking at a later post mate. This is the original one here.
  15. Just to clarify, I was responding originally to SWYL who was suggesting Dunstan come into the team for Harmes role. This is a different conversation to the dynamics of list management.
  16. Nah. Dunstan is just a slower and less versatile Harmes, and doesn't fit with our midfield mix at all IMO. Good depth though.
  17. Yes, Dunstan is very good depth, but he doesn't have the burst or running ability that Harmes does and we need more of that. Dunstan will only get a game if we have injuries. I do expect a bit of a different side, and I'm excited to see JVR, Howes, Laurie get a crack on top of the potential ins in Grundy, Hunter, maybe we could even have a dip at Bowes if Harmes leaves? I can see us bringing in a few more younger players this year.
  18. Not that I rate Harmes super highly, but Dunstan in for Harmes doesn't improve us.
