Really?
Just realistic.

Hate to be doomsday but I’d be surprised if we see anything different from what’s been dished up so far. I’m expecting plenty of the ball, good amount of hard ball gets and more i50s than the opposition. I’m also expecting scrappy i50 entries leading to poor score returns. Also expecting poor skills leading to turnovers and easy scoring opportunities for our opponent.

Our midfield, wings and Forward line are not AFL standard. We can’t hit handpasses, our mids don’t defend, our key forwards don’t even take shots at goals when inside 50.
We need to look to trade out some players to get ourself back into the draft. For the right offer I feel OMac, Hunt, Viney, Brayshaw, Trac, Tmac and Weeds should be in consideration to help us reset our list and team balance and fill these gaps.
We arnt going to get close to a premiership with this list
No chance of winning a flag with this list. Can’t believe we have had the 2nd most inside 50s this year. The entries have been deplorable, in fact the skill level overall is diabolical.

We’d have been better off just using Knightmare’s Phantom Draft than the spud’s we’ve been paying for.
Similar to the share market where so many of the highly paid Fund Managers can’t even beat the Index or an ETF.
Great call.

Kent to miss rest of season with quad injury.
Wow. Along with Hogan. We give away injury prone players and pick more up.

Who cares if you don’t get the ball as long as you chase, tackle and apply pressure.

I was devo when Scott Thompson got traded. He turned out to be a gun.

All I can do is shake my head in disbelief. Smith was managed so poorly. We draft KK with serious concussion issues that remain. Disgrace.

Gee the backline will look different this week.

We still haven't seen anyone suspended for staging. The rule is there but the umps and the AFL are afraid to pull the trigger on it.
Ageee. What’s the point of having rules if they aren’t enforced.

Staging is equal to cheating.

Hogan: foot. Obviously came back too soon.
Have a feeling he will always been an injury prone player. Might work out in our favour.

Greg Denham just said on SEN he wants out of Freo and will be seeking a return to Victoria for the 2020 season. No club yet specified.
Triple premiership Hawk wingman, Freo B&F 2017, exquisitely skilled smooth mover. And still only 25yo.
Statistically 2019 is shaping as the best season he’s put together as well. Showing absolutely no decline in his output.
You’ll have to mount a pretty strong case as to why we should go hard after this player given his skill set is exactly what we need.
Start the bidding at our second round pick thank you very much.
And cue the negative Nellies in 3 - 2 - 1 ...
”He’d cost too much ... “
”He’ll only go to club X, Y or Z”
”Overrated ... “
”Off field problems ... “
Etc etc etc. Yawn.
No way. Too much baggage. He will end up walking away.

Could not agree more what a snoozefest. No spark, no great 1 on 1 contests, no room for individual brilliance besides the odd goal from Buddy. Footy is in a bad way.
100%. I’m enjoying watching the cricket over AFL which never used to be the case during footy season.

Honestly what’s the point in playing either of them unless absolutely 100%. Anyone that needs surgery should be done now and not at the end of the season.

Yeah. Like O'Meara and Scully.
At least these guys have played more than about 6 games in 3 years and are elite players.

Aaron vandenBerg | Foot – TBC
“He’s still running but only twice a week, so his progression is quite slow. There’s no real time frame, we’ll just be cautious with him.”
Geez, signing vandenBerg for 3 years doesn't seem such a great call.
Has to go. Can’t keep players like him clogging up the list.
