“yeah, so you agree, rozzee is sh*t, has the contested ball awareness of a minature poodle.”

I will never be able to look at Connor Rozee without thinking of this. ?
AND they misspelled his name. Their own player!

  2. I don’t know if this has been brought up but I wouldn’t be surprised if the club played just Brown and Tmac as key talls for the rest of the season.

They could / will probably keep Weideman in the 2’s for the rest of the year to further his development and finally get some real consistency in how he plays, and then get a complete preseason into him with the view that he can breakout next year and/or in future years, as McDonald and Brown start to age. This could perhaps be the ideal plan in terms of finding a consistent forward structure.

That's the way mate, keep attacking.

You're have no understanding of the other.

Who is olisik or Dr D?

Must be only addressing your inner circle.

Mate, I have a right to express myself on this open forum, without the constant attacks.

But well done, your circle must be getting chuffed about your inputs.

    So much wisdom, to impart!

Can't wait for the next snipe.

    nuffie

A term used to describe people that are mentally retarded (or just plain stupid). Derived from the term nuff nuff.

I’m jealous that you don’t know who Olisik or Dr.D is tbh

But you completely mistook my comment. If you read carefully, you would know that I didn’t attack you, I attacked your comment (or rather, I took the mickey out of it).

There’s a difference between criticism of a post and criticism of the poster. I clearly made no remarks towards you mate, just your post. You’re not a nuffie.

But your post on the other hand…. ?

I get that the majority think the noise of tracc when planking is irrelevant.

I think it indicates his mental weaknesses, immaturity and disrespect to team mates and the trainers.

Please don't call me nuts, or a nuffie or suggest I am not part of the "we" in this forum. They are personal attacks. If you can't see that then you have become desensitised to how you treat others..Those names are borderline nasty, I will ask those throwing them out, to not do it. Even if with some humorous intention.

    @BAMF

^ Why is it that when people post nuffie opinions, they get overly defensive when they get called even slightly called out??

IMO your post is bordering on Olisik/Dr.D level nuffiness mate.

  5. Seems to be a bit similar to Daniher’s time at Melbourne as well. Coach for 10 years, made finals here and there including a grand final, and departs midway through their last season. Also times where you thought he was gonna get sacked halfway through their tenure but ended up staying as their clubs bounced back into finals.

  6. I’m as worried as anyone when it comes to a drop-off happening, but the difference is that north’s list back then was old and bog-average. Provided we don’t cop too many injuries we should be fine, but this is Melbourne we’re talking about so you never know.

at the same time we take players like May and Langdon and just pretend they aren't only here for more money and arguably more success. Get your blinkers off and see the afl environment for what it is.

You’ve said this a thousand times. We get it, you love yourself. Go to bed mate.

As I've pointed out successfully in pre-season. he isn't a forward. I think 1 goal in 4 weeks and barely any shots on goal proves this once and for all. His role is important for Gawn to get breaks though and when he goes into the ruck he is good at ground level.

Jeez you love blowing smoke up your own [censored], don’t you?

Bloke’s still 19 and you’re writing him off as a forward already. Even though his lack of goals largely stem from his current inability to hold contested marks, which should be rectified in time as he matures.

Tracc had a quiet game last week

    Big one tonight

I reckon it’s really good that we’re considering 24 disposals and 2 goals to be a ‘quiet game’ for trac. If that’s what we consider average form for him then it goes to show how good he’s actually become.

Is it only me that's worried about big M's form / fitness after last week?

Looked a fair way off his best.

Looking at the numbers as well...only 7 effective disposals, 1 tackle, 3 clearances, 2 contested marks, no marks inside fifty and 0 goals.  On the plus side he did have 8 one percenters and 4 intercepts.

Gawn has performed poorly in round 1 for the last few years now so it’s not too much of a worry seeing as he’s ended up as AA in the same years. FWIW Grundy was even worse than Gawn last week but look how he went last night.

He obviously sees their list being far more capable then ours at the time. What you may see,  may be different to his own point of view. Personally I like the way Carlton are building their list.

Just like Steven May picked Melbourne over Collingwood when deciding back at the 2018 trade period. What have we shown over the past years to say we've had success over Collingwood?

Fair enough mate. I just reckon a midfield with Petracca and Oliver alone beats Carlton’s complete midfield any day, so why wouldn’t he want to stay at Melbourne since he bears some responsibility for the team’s performances? But I see your point,  Oliver could think that he’s the missing piece to Carlton’s midfield puzzle which could take them to finals.

  12. I’m not trying to discredit what other people have heard, but the problem with the Oliver rumours is that it just doesn’t add up. If he’s chasing success, why the hell would he want to go to Carlton? What have they shown that indicates they will be more successful than us? One thing’s for sure, we’ve shown much more than they have.

Anthony Scott. Prime example, bloke was only drafted a few weeks ago, looks way better than sparrow already

Scott is a 25 year old mature ager in the Marlion Pickett mould who can make an impact right away. But he’s played one freakin game and already you’re calling him better than sparrow?
