It was just an observation that whilst we're supposedly looking to sell a metaphorical farm the Cats might be trying to entice Clarry with an actual farm. The fact that I have to explain it shows that it wasn't a very good joke.

It's not very often we get a GF where I don't despise at least one of the competing sides so I'm just going to kick back and enjoy what I hope is a tight game right to the end. It's comforting to know however that it will definitely end in tears for one of Papley or Zorko.

Got the email today. $870 for a Tridents season ticket including away games in Melbourne & GFG. Last year $810 including GA entry to 5 away games. To have a firm price this early suggests the club know how many away games we'll have in Melbourne next year and therefore what the fixture will look like.

It's a win win. We either get to see Papley or Zorko collect a runners up medal.

Each side should have their own GF parade. One down Clarendon St and the other down Brunswick St, meeting in the city centre.

I'd be happier if it actually was South Melbourne v Fitzroy.
