And if you catch the ball that has travelled 11.001m or more off the boot then a Mark is paid
-
Saw this and thought exactly the same But then again, they'd done a heap of work before that and potentially was a case of get them off if spent and try to lock down

Don't understand all the suggestions for ANB and Hunt and/Pickett out?? Was I watching a different game last night?? We had Speed and used it to good effect! Plus they all kicked goals as a result of their Speed In 2nd Qrt, Pickett and Hunt affected a clearance from D50, Petracca won the HtB free and the ball was kicked forward to Hunt who tapped onto Pickett - end to end by these 2 blokes

Hunt and Pickett got the ball cleared from Defensive 50 Then were there at the goal line at the other end That's why we need speed

Caroline Wilson on MFC rumblings

I assume (or am just guessing really) that the "soft cap" is the real factor here, and not simply the hard $$ Soft cap getting smaller is forcing cuts irrespective of payouts to coaches We wouldn't be able to payout a huge exit stash to Goody and employ anyone else, or probably keep 5 other positions for next year, not to mention how [censored] off the AFL would be having bailed us out a few years back -

Do you think Ross Lyon may be considered for a GM of Football role? A la Neil Balme If Goody stays, surely there's a clean out around him -
Win or lose there will be changes If Goody's contract precludes him going, then those around him will be
-
Unfortunately not a good one

The whole story hinges on an apparent scoop that past players are wrangling for change So a few former players keen to instill true Melbourne people in the ultimate leadership roles at the club (in lieu of the AFL inserts from 2013/14) Not all that surprising really is it?? Caro is excited by it, but she trades on others' agendas...Perhaps we should be more excited? Tap your contacts and see...?
