Follow the money given the extraordinary money spent on TV rights the broadcasters need ROI and unfortunately that means eyeballs. Until now, not us as others have said they need to show dees V other big games it's not just vic though - in northern NSW we often don't get any AFL broadcast whilst 7s 35 digital channels are showing ice truckers Canada, ice truckers Alaska, navel gazers Costa Rica and pimp my ride hoppers crossing.either that or we have the freo Carlton blockbuster on prime time whilst there's a much better option. Didn't someone say on here the other day that the salary cap per club increases by 2M p.a. from 2019? That could accommodate an uplift in Tmac, Brayshaw and Gaff. Let's aay 750-800 gaff, +200 p.a. for Tmac + 200 p.a. for Brayshare that leaves 600k P.a. for the rest of the group. Would that provide a CPI lift for everyone? Not sure what the base is.
