Ok after reading the email again, i notice that it actually is personalised. Some is copy and paste best half is not, but i am happy nevertheless. I just hope some of the emails get read to the players as ultimately THEY were the ones to blame for that dismal display.

Im not much of a letter writer but i had to do this, its not at all nasty (i dont think) but i just really needed to say something to them so here it is. MFC. Hopefully you have received many many many emails about the disgraceful thing that happen last night at Patersons Stadium, just to show you how passionate your fans, supporters and paid members really are. I am sure you have already be informed by other outraged members of the lack of intensity, courage, leadership etc. so I will not bother going down that path. All I want you to know is how I myself feel about what's been happening this year and to beg of the players, coaches FD everyone to please please find a way to rectify this. That thing last night feels like it hurt all of us more than it hurt the players. I remember last year the topic of having a "winning spirit" reared its ugly head and opinion was split 50/50 as to whether this was fact or fiction. I'm not sure if it is the "winning spirit" that this team is lacking or something else but they definitely lack one key ingredient in my opinion, they cannot play 4 quarters of footy. Why not? What is it that stops us? I could go on, but I am at work and must get over this and move on. See you at the G in 9 days time. Pretty weak but atleast i got it off my chest.

Well the media is pretty much skimming over our performance, just the Dean says this and that...need Mike to have a real crack at us and DB to make every player study the criticism that will be in it. EVERYONE here has asked "Where is the intensity, desire and need?"

I have done this with another sporting code, V8 supercars, got rid of all my Ford memorabilia, photos, clothing etc and pronounced that i will never support ford again because of their lack of passion, intent etc. That was after Courtney jumped ship and went to HRT. I now find myself still watching the V8's and a little voice in my head screaming "GO FORD", you will ALWAYS love them even if your concious mind says no, the sub concious and your heart will always "beat true".

It's very rare that we have a string of players on their own, you might get two or three coming out of defence but then the play breaks down on CHF or in the middle (when we go there these days).

They constantly kick it to the wing, fail epically, and continue to do it. Really i know its part of the game plan but come on, realise that its failing and try something else.......RANT OVER.

Are you serious? Not even a proven coach, wow he can teach players defence, what about attack, goal kicking, structures, oversee of all coaching staff, passion? Maybe Wellman in a few years but not next year, dream on.

Look give credit where it is due, Essendon were hot last night, they just wanted the ball more, and the old habit of being 5mtr behind a player reared its ugly head again. And talk about flat footed, do we even know how to lead? Seriously is it our game plan to wait for someone else to do it? Our backline really stunk last night, warnock especially, leaving men loose, in the wrong position for our version of "zone", indiscriminate kicking and handballing just sheer lack of vision. Poor effort all round, no positives what so ever.

What i cannot understand is, why do we keep making skill errors like we do? Why do we have senior players making poor decisions? Why do we have senior players dropping marks, ineffectively using the ball and being out of position all the time? This is aimed at the senior players, not the first or second or third year players but veterans.
