  1. I really think Grimes needs to earn his spot back, before he was injured he was playing terrible footy. I really would love to see Watts get dropped, so sick of his lack of desire for the ball, it's getting worse. But sadly this will not happen. And people are saying M.Jones is tired, didn't he just get back into the team? So he should have a cup of warm milk and a lay down for a weekend? WTF? Leave the team as is, have JKH as the sub.
  2. Jetta has been a stand out this year, super consistant with many scalps along the way, I would not be surprised if he wins it.
  3. Not just that but you are not really watching the play if the ball is behind you.

    Luck

Do you really believe that Jack Watts would be the same player if he was at Hawthorn? OR Geelong? Jack's problem is he thinks he is too important to get hurt so he doesn't go hard at it. Nothing to do with luck. I agree that Morton was/is a dud, i guess they were hoping they could put bulk on him and he would still be good. Complete failure, nothing to do with luck. Do not dribble [censored] about Scully, we all wanted him at the time, it's just the fact he left us that pisses you off. Nothing to do with luck. Luck is complete tripe and any who believe it's partly lucks fault for our dismal years is a fool.
  5. Too steer this topic back on track... Pressure. That's all it is. Whether it is pressure from within or out. I bet if you watched them train they would hit target after target by hand and foot till the cows come home. Put some REAL pressure on them and they screw it up. That's what they need to get over. Oh, and this talk about getting rid of all our experienced players, really???? So put us back how many years...again??? Pray that whoever takes over from Roos will be able to continued the FULL rebuild, because that is what you are saying, a full rebuild. What is the difference from this week and last round when you were all loving them and their effort against Port? It's the same team, at the end of the day they are human, and humans succumb to pressure, even the best of us. Classic example is Port. They were the best for the first half of the year.
  6. This is the wankiest thing i have ever read, what are these tools getting paid for that you or i couldnt do??? Full time umpires will rid them of worring about informing their boss they need Friday off! NRL Ref's aree full time, the EPL has full time ref's with a massive amount of trainees. WTF man?
  7. Much better to get him out for 1 game than have him being a madman during preseason and do further injury from going overboard to prove he is ready!
  8. The issue is not speaking to other players throughout the year but signing them before the season ends.
  9. Really Daisy, that's your reaction...Ho hum???
  10. Just did! http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2014-07-28/roos-locks-in-third-year
  11. Sorry Swooper, thats terrible!
  12. Which stands out best? Ours is way too busy and the likes of Carltank and Giants are way too simple. I like the Hawks one and Stkildas with the latin.
  13. It will be the umpires that completely turn me off AFL well before issues with greed and loyalty do!
  14. They have stated that they openly discuss what will be the "Rule of the week" and then share with the clubs on their decision. I cannot believe that they are allowed to do this, it doesn't make sense! Again...look at the silly monkey.
  15. Does seem like a great way to sell more tickets, if it was honest!
  16. If the umpires are part time, why do they need an umpiring department? Look at the silly monkey.
  17. If he keeps playing the way he has been recently, then by all means go play at Geelong where you and Rivers can bring them further down the ladder!
  18. Another round (well half round) and another bunch of [censored] poor efforts by people that clearly only care about how good they look on TV. It was stated earlier in this thread that decisions vary from Q to to week to week umpire to umpire etc... This weekend was a clear example of this, and most of it was during the Bombers v Doggies game where the Bombers got slaughtered by the umpires almost as bad as we did. Something really needs to be done about this, i know heaps of people that have lost interest because they cannot stand the umpires "Interpretations."
  19. Only complete dribble oozes from this things orifice so it's pretty likely that this is wrong. Why would he leave a team in the position the Swans are in...would you leave a team in premiership contention to come to a team at the bottom of the ladder???
  20. And Gillard was sooo much better.....when will people learn that they are all the same!? Great to hear/read that they find us harder to play against, wonder what would have been said if we beat them!
