  1. Thoughts on using Bernie to hard tag Mitchell into oblivion like he did to Danger a few years ago? Bernie likes a bit of niggle........ And I'll be at the game, first one I've been able to get to this year. Predicting Dees by 3 goals or less, reckon it will be a cracker.
  2. Yeah, that's quite a lot of harassment. Did you answer any of them? If they are still calling you after you have told them where to go, that's not cool and the club should probably be made aware.
  3. I watched Dees games via the free AFL Live pass as a Telstra customer last year. Cast to my TV via Chromecast, but quality was a bit shizen. Was going to do the same this year, until an offer for Foxtel Play popped up via my Herald Sun Digital subscription. Was about to can the Herald Sun sub as it had crept up to a dollar a day (used to cost about half that when I signed up pretty much for Supercoach Gold). Now pay $40 a month for my Herald Sun sub plus Foxtel Play on 3 devices including the Telstra TV, which we already had but weren't really using. Includes sports, lifestyle and music channels, which is about all we would use Foxtel for as we download everything else. So I'm now paying $12 bucks a month extra, I get to watch all the footy, and the missus gets to watch all her cooking/home/lifestyle shows. Happy with that. Not sure if the deal is still running.
  4. I was called from a Melbourne number. 03 9452 9040 for those who would like to accept or decline the call.
  5. I got a call from them on Wed night, but they lead in with 'We're calling about the online comparison you did........'. Needless to say my response was curt, as I had not done anyone online comparisons with iSelect for anything. Told them where to go as it was right on dinnertime. Got a second call the next day, where the first thing the guy said after he announced he was from iSelect was that he got my details because I'm a Melbourne member, and the club thanks you for your support. Bloke was polite, well spoken, and not pushy at all. OK, you've got my attention. Did the dance on the phone, and turns out they will save me nearly $600 a year on my elec and gas, I'll get myself a 2017 Dees jumper, and I'll get a $200 Eftpos card from iSelect for changing both providers. Win win win for me :)) All I can say is as a member, I'm happy to support the companies that support the club. If they give you a call, at least give them the chance to see if they can save you some hard earned. (And yes, I know this is my first post. Long time lurker. Pinky swear I have absolutely no affiliation with iSelect or anything else nefarious that would give me reason to tell porky pies on this forum.)
