Caroline Wilson banned from Demon function
In many things, she does need to be a little less contentious, headline-grabbing, controversial as her outbursts often lead to people in football looking behind rather than moving forward. I'd hate to be driving my Range Rover with her, as a backseat passenger, watching every inch of the road in order to comment unnecessarily just to be heard.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
For the midfielders, it also represents a decreased running distance and duration as I could never expect us - in the current game plan of occasional possessions from an almost continuous supply of long bombs - to master the 'eyes-up' transfers that we so urgently need. It will improve the target zone for this style of play no end, and provide a range of alternative slots/roles/contributions of the talls we have and who are used at present in a largely static manner for the 'hope and the prayer' to produce a result. If we are currently the highest scoring team in the comp, we are going to be a full light year ahead of this statistic with better usage of the talls in diverse role plays. The Weed, for example, might become the new 'Breust' or 'Smith'-style of player rather than a locked in, static, occasional deep forward. It may well be very exciting... another example is the current change of the game play of Hogan - forced to become a mobile big around the fwd half of the ground; if there were two in this function, watch out, the Filth. Then, with the advent of the return of Lever, and the strengths of our current backmen, things may well happen.

Physically intimidating and still highly mobile, and once again solving a co-ordination gap within the game plan.

Brownlow Medal 2018
It does look like another episode and dimension of the Green Snot Goblins; 'impartiality', doesn't it? At the same time, the votes accumulated by Brayshaw, Oliver and Gawn made it impossible for any one of them to take the chocolate Charlie at the top of the pile. It is, at the same time, a fine testament to quality within the MFC - and augers well for 2019 - moreso than any other club.

It would not be merely playing two rucks. Gawn and Preuss could be a formidable and very difficult-to-overcome tandem utility set. Both have ruck skills (derrr), both have forward skills, both have defensive skills and both have intercept value at the top of the notch. Both have definitive skills as utilities and mobile man-mountains. Preuss also offers protection skills for smaller teammates to dig in for the ball as part of the chaos game plan. Add May to the backline to work with Hibberd, Frosty, Nev and Lever with two onfield, available, giant intercepts and no-one is going to come close!

Just hang onto Joel Smith for some more development - he has some class potential that only game time can expose.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Not 'ridiculous', absolutely 'frightening' if used in a tandem swap/role rotation up fwd, down back and in the ruck.

It is as plain as the nose on your face - Gawny needs support and is otherwise unfairly overworked to haul us out of one in-game catastrophe after another - and this is a testament to his endeavour and high character as a team man and champion.

He can play forward, and kicks both feet rather elusively.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
A good acquisition, if possible.
-
Who do we realistically target for a trade?
A Wingard, in decline, would be a perfect accompaniment to the greed of Whoreform.
-
Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Yes, hope we keep Dean Kent. Valuable, tough, fast, accurate.

It’s the game plan
Plus Preuss and May, I'd hope.

Post Match Discussion - Preliminary Final
Yep, soft and exposed across several games this season. It is a combination of player availability, as well, and overwork/ expectation for/to some of our finest such as Gawn, TMac, Nev, Lever, Hibberd, Jones, Hogan, for example. It is also related to injuries and similar strength substitution of players at critical matches.

There is talent within not yet ready to come up the the firsts team. We can only recruit out of this devastation for an immediate fix of less than two years ... so it is a backman giant killer we need to support Lever, Frosty, Hibberd, Nev, JSmith, and perhaps, OMac if kept. Suggest May be the prey for the Dees. We need a ruckman who does the fwd line things of note, as well. Strongly suggest Preuss from the Kangas. We need two bloody quick ball handlers outside mids. Departures: Tyson, Lewis, Bernie, Jones, all very sad. Couple of others superfluous to our needs - unless improvements are totally evident. FD has its work cut out for 2019 and some realism factored into the mix. Lightweights abound, grunt needed. Sad realisations but we are too soft, still.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
Clarrie is a man who retains his words; he does not mouth off - a keen observer happy out of the immediacy of the verbal limelight, most of the time. He knows something and keeps it to himself. His words come out as actions of the field, and in communications with his teammates onfield, between bursts. If Clarrie says: '...we got this...', we had better believe it. Random thought, from a mate: 'OMac has been practising goal kicking at some depth and has done very well at it. Possibly, TMac to CHB, OMac to FFwd. Whadya reckon?'
