Pressure certainly dropped off in the last 6-7 minutes, but we are playing better footy than the last few weeks. Some of the usual things are still there - the turnovers, the silly decisions - but we've also seen us play a little more consistently up to this point. Allowing GC some easier goals, even the ones they pulled out of their rear end, hurts, but I'm happy to be in front and we should go on and win this.

Why can't goals like that happen for us? They have kicked 3-4 out of nothing to stay in this game.

May to Gawn out of the back line has worked a treat so far tonight.

Loving the pressure across half forward right now and we're setting up well behind the ball. Trac might have made a few errors but he isn't far away from tearing the game wide open.

That sucks for T Mac. Out for the game, and he was really providing a great target for us up the ground.

Earlier today they paid it for everything. Tonight you can do a 1080 degree turn and it's called play on.

Yep. He's actually done a few positive things so far tonight. We know he can use the ball well and he's doing that and having an impact with those disposals.

True, and this is terribly easy for me to say, but take that away and we're the better side. It's a massive thing though so it's difficult to justify, but I think around the ground we've been better.

The other disappointing stat are the tackles. While it's been a more open game, having just eight for the term is pretty poor. I think our general pressure is okay, but we need to stick some more.

Disagree. In fact, I reckon we were the slightly better side... except for the turnovers which killed us. If we cut those down by half we would be two goals in front.

I mean, seriously. If we could hit targets properly we would be in front. We get it to the wing and then either miss the target or [censored] fart around with it and turn it over. Horribly frustrating to watch. You can see we are trying to change things up, but as it always is with us, skills and turnovers kill us. I'd like to think we can fix it up but with a slippery ball it makes us look even worse. Plus you get that sick feeling in your stomach when they get it off half back, turn inside and they have runners everywhere.

Jesus, we love a turnover.

Anyone else feel as though there is better pressure in our forward half as opposed to the last few weeks? We just seem a bit more up and about forward of the ball than we have been.
