Daisy: AFLW's a Gimmicky Tournament
He's a stain on our once great game, I'm surprised the media don't give him hell a lot more often. Has destroyed everything

Daisy: AFLW's a Gimmicky Tournament
Good on Daisy, a disgrace once again by the Gil circus. Jeez AFL wide has gone backwards since his inception, needs to go. But at least he saw 1m members. Releasing the cream before the bad news. Snake oil salesman.

Losing Jack Viney
Gawn is our best leader and I didnt mention Tyson, I don't think he's a massive loss either. We'll agree to disagree on this one, enjoy your day.

Losing Jack Viney
While it's sad, he is coverable, he's no superstar. The only thing we can't replace is his will to win. I'm not too concerned with losing Viney and it shouldn't hinder our chances too much. Hibberd and Melksham is of more concern to our structure IMO.

VALE JARROD LYLE
My day is done after hearing that, so bloody sad. Here we are crapping on about the little things in footy, then you have a true blue gentle aussie about to leave his kids behind. Have met him once, lovely bloke. Catch yas tomorrow.

I want Collinwood to win and do it convincingly, I don't want the Swans to gain any confidence out of a spirited win. Let them die slowly.

I’m surprised so many are writing Sydney off, we all know what they’re like.

Proposed new rules for 2019
I’m over this crap. Gil and his circus got the game into this mess, rather than fix it by removing what they’ve created, they just make up more ridiculous rules. When does the buck stop with Gil? And how does the public get rid of him? Absolute arse clown

Injury List - Season 2018
Don't forget the WCE game is at a new ground (same size as MCG) that we haven't played on yet. Last year was at Subiaco. I'm just happy to take it one week at a time for now, we cant afford to take GC lightly, they beat Sydney at home only a couple of weeks back.

Salem ready to make his mark
Every Time I've seen him go into the midfield he dominates the clearances, so I would assume a necessity?

Losing Jack Viney
I'd prefer Gawn as captain and Lever as VC.

Salem ready to make his mark
Underrated season IMO. Goes about his business quietly, quite hard at it and courageous, beautiful left foot and to my relief, taking more kick ins in recent weeks. Doesn't get the credit like Oliver and Gawn etc but has become a very important playmaker for us. This season he's averaging 20.1 disposals per game at 73% efficiency along with 4 tackles and 3.4 rebound 50's to go with his 346m gained. Has had games of 29 disposals, 28 and two 27's. The good thing is he's a "kicker" of the footy and sets up a lot of play. This year he has had career highs in marks, goals, tackles, clearances, goal assists, i50's, rebound 50's, stoppage clearances, centre clearances, contested and uncontested possessions. I quite like him when he plays in the midfield as it provides something different along with Brayshaw and Oliver. From memory the NM game he dominated the midfield and turned the game himself. I like the idea of him playing wing or HF for his delivery, but thank god he's been playing down back while we have been undermanned. Has played 17 games and only missed 1, so is finally getting a decent crack at some continuity and has been developing nicely. Underrated player.

All Australian watch
I think at the time of my post he was a lock AA40 and many experts had him in the AA18, however he has definitely slowed up in recent weeks. I remember he got a bad head knock in I think the Port Adelaide game? He certainly gives his all, one of my favourites. In the Geelong game he was the only one trying to spoil Tuohy. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I think when Jetta slows down he'll slow down quickly, no doubt he plays sore for 23 weeks a year. I tossed up the idea of finding a replacement for Jetta as I think he'll fade away, I'm surprised the club decided on 3 years though, 2 would've made more sense, just like Lewis. I agree Jetta is down on last year, Hibberd also.

Losing Jack Viney
I definitely agree with that, he was starting to let go of that over aggression and gel, good pickup

Losing Jack Viney
You’re right, Vineys over aggression and not so bright bull at a gate play gets in the way, he needs to be smarter not harder.

Shuey should be back next week, Kennedy will miss another week

Andrew Gaff
A pack of sour cream and onion Smiths and a bottle of Dr Pepper after going back over his games.

Run home to Finals - 2018
Just did a ladder predictor and we can still make top 4 if we only lose 1 of the remaining providing some results go our way. Could be either Rich v Melb week one or maybe Melb v Ess/Syd (IF we make it)

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
He hasn't been right since the Bulldogs game 8 weeks ago, something isn't right. Maybe an injury has affected his confidence but he's looking quite ordinary since that game 2 months ago, his decision making and field kicking is usually of good standard. Isn't jumping for the ball or crashing packs like he used to suggests he has a niggle, trouble is when he does he still goes up when TMAC does. I notice that he's back playing for frees again in the last few weeks but if you watch the games he's getting double teamed so it's maybe something Goody needs to clarify with the umpiring department too if he's being blocked or scragged. Anyway the current Jesse is playing poorly, if he needs a rest then freshen him up, scoring isn't our problem. The biggest issue for Jesse is finding a way to play better and score freely v better teams, he bashes up the bottom dwellers with ease. Since the WB game he has booted 11 goals in 7 games and v Coll, Port, Geel, Adel he has kicked a combined 2 goals in total. In the same time, TMAC has snagged 21 in 7 games including 16 v Coll, Port, Geel, Adel. He is lacking confidence since the bye, I'm sure it has to be injury related. He's too good of a player to be this badly out of form.

We are the only team that can beat Richmond, the opportunity is there if we want it.

Alex Neal-Bullen
ANB was one of 4 players I paid attention to tonight (usually a differ t group each week), thought he was fantastic and I actually do see his pressure acts, you won’t see them if you don’t watch closely and they won’t show up on the stats sheet but I can see the value in his team first attitude.
